Sign in on the web

  1. Go to knowunity.com and sign in with the same method you use in the app: Google, Apple or email. If your account has a username instead of an email address, type your username in the Email or username field.
  2. Open the web app. Your library, folders, AI chats and study plans are the same as in the app.

What works on the web

  • AI chat with photo and file uploads. Under the latest answer, open Generate again to get a new answer, for example Go deeper. Tap the share button and Copy link to share a chat; messages sent after you share the link are not included. In your chat history, use Filter by subject, Rename and delete to organise your chats.
  • Flashcards, quizzes, mock exams and summaries.
  • Study plans. Some students also see Explain out loud steps on the website. This is being tested, so a step visible in the app may be missing on the website. You cannot opt in or out, and support cannot switch it on.
  • Library and folders.
  • Profile settings and subscription management.
  • XP and the weekly Leaderboard, in the sidebar.
  • Some students see a Study Timer for focused study sessions with breaks; others do not. This is being tested. You cannot opt in or out, and support cannot switch it on.

The camera scanner and timetable widget need the app. Lecture recording is not available on the website.

On a phone browser

You can use the web app in a phone browser. Open the menu to find its sections. You may see a prompt to open the app; the camera scanner and timetable widget need the app.

Buying Pro on the web

You can buy Pro on the website. It activates on your account and works in the app as well. The Max plan is not on sale at the moment. See What is the difference between Free, Pro and Max?

Sign-in problems on the web

See I cannot sign in to my account. If Google sign-in shows an unknown error, try an incognito window or a different browser.
