How do I create and save images in AI chat?

Some students can create images in AI chat. The image option and saving behaviour are being tested, so accounts can have different controls. You cannot opt in or out, and support cannot switch them on.

Create an image

If an image-creation option appears in AI chat, select it and describe the image you want. Send your request and wait for the image to finish.

You can open a generated image by tapping it in the conversation.

Save an image

1. Tap the generated image to open it full screen.
2. If Save image is available, tap it.
3. Allow access to save to your photo gallery if your device asks.
4. Wait for Image saved to your gallery before looking for it in your photos.

Some accounts can save directly. Others see Pro options before saving. Follow the offer shown in your app. An image appearing in the chat does not mean every account has the same download option.

The save button is missing

The save control applies to generated images when it is available to your account. A photo you uploaded yourself does not use that same generated-image download control.

If the button is missing, updating the app does not guarantee it will appear during the test.

Saving failed

Check your connection and photo permissions, then try again. If it still fails, use the support form under A technical problem and include the error message.
