Benefits
Why Knowunity?
High-quality learning environment
Your brand sits in an education context, not between dance videos and memes. Not classic consumer advertising. Relevant placements in the moment of study.
Maximum engagement
Social-media mechanics and AI features create a highly active community. The app is used 4-5 times per week. 61% of would-be UK apprentices couldn't find a role in their preferred location (Sutton Trust + UCAS, 'Where Next', 2023). Knowunity puts your scheme in front of them first.
Precise targeting
No wasted reach. Target by country, region, postcode radius, school type, Key Stage, year group, A-Level subject and interests. Registered users only, all under 18.
Touchpoints

A wide range of ad formats, natively integrated into the platform. No stop-and-scroll behaviour. Real attention in the learning moment.

Apprenticeship & school-leaver marketing
Most pupils are passive,
not yet searching
Year 11-13 pupils form their post-18 views long before they apply. Knowunity reaches them in the discovery window, before they commit to UCAS or an apprenticeship.
Active seekers

Passive seekers

Case study · Germany
Avacon x Knowunity
Avacon, a regional energy utility, used Knowunity for school-leaver apprenticeship marketing across two campaign windows. The mechanics translate directly to UK degree apprenticeships, school-leaver schemes and NHS trust recruitment.
The strategy
Avacon positioned itself as an innovative employer in the energy sector. Authentic creatives and apprentices as testimonials spoke directly to pupils in the regional catchment.
Two campaign phases: start of the school year (Sep-Dec) and the application wave (Jan-May). Regional targeting across 7 locations, secondary schools and sixth-form colleges, focused on final-year pupils. Maps to UK rhythm: Year 12 awareness Sep-Dec, Year 13 application push Jan-May, regional targeting by postcode and Key Stage.
