I cannot sign in to my account

Most sign-in problems come from using a different method than at sign-up. Check whether you registered with Google, Apple, email or a username before resetting your password.

1. Use the same sign-in method as at sign-up

You can sign in to Knowunity with Google, Apple, your email and password or, for younger users, a username and password. If you registered with Google or Apple, there is no Knowunity password to enter. Tap the matching button on the login screen instead.

Tip: an Apple sign-in that used Hide My Email gives your account a private relay address. Sign in with Apple again rather than typing an email.

2. Check the email address

The error no account found usually means a typo or a different address than the one you registered with. Try your other email addresses.

3. Reset your password

If you registered with email or username:

  1. On the login screen, tap Forgot password? then Reset it.
  2. Enter your email address.
  3. Open the link in the email and choose a new password with at least 8 characters.

If no email arrives, see I did not receive the confirmation or password reset email.

4. Confirm your email address

New accounts must confirm their email before they can sign in on the website. Open the confirmation email we sent at sign-up or request a new one from your profile in the app.

5. Update the app

Install the latest version from the App Store or Google Play and try again.
