Responsibilities and Key Policies in HSC Settings
Every health and social care worker must follow strict policies and procedures that protect both clients and staff. Think of policies as the "what we do" rules, whilst procedures are the "how we do it" step-by-step instructions.

Safeguarding is absolutely crucial - it means ensuring vulnerable children and adults are protected from harm, abuse, and neglect whilst promoting their health and wellbeing. This isn't just a policy; it's the foundation of everything you do in care.

Professional Support and Specialist Agencies
