Azijska velikanka - osnove, ki jih moraš poznati
Azija je absolutna prvakinja med celinami. S svojimi 44,6 milijona km² pokriva skoraj tretjino vse kopnine, živi pa na njej več kot 4,5 milijarde ljudi - to je 60 % svetovnega prebivalstva!
Celina se razteza čez oba pola, severni in južni (razen nekaterih otokov), ter preko vzhodne in zahodne poloble. Meje z Evropo potekajo po Uralu, reki Ural, Kaspijskem jezeru in Kavkazu, z Afriko pa po Sueškemu prekopu.
Azijo obkrožajo trije oceani - Tihi na vzhodu, Indijski na jugu in Severno ledeno morje na severu. Zaradi izjemne raznolikosti ji rečemo tudi "celina presežkov" ali "celina nasprotij".
💡 Pomni: Azija leži na stiku več litosferskih plošč, kar povzroča potrese, vulkane in nastanek visokih gorskih verig!
Relief in podnebje - od Everesta do Mrtvega morja
Azijski relief je prava zbirka rekordov. Mount Everest (8.848 m) je najvišja točka na Zemlji, obala Mrtvega morja pa najnižja. Tu najdeš mlada nagubana gorstva (Himalaja), stara gorstva (Ural), ogromna nižavja in visoke planote.
Podnebne razmere so zaradi velikosti celotno spektakularno. V Sibiriji vladajo mrzle zime s permafrostom, v puščavah Srednje Azije so ogromne temperaturne razlike, na jugu pa tropski monsuni prinašajo obilne padavine poleti in suho vreme pozimi.
Monsunski vetrovi so ključni za milijone ljudi - poleti pihajo z oceana na kopno in prinašajo dež za kmetijstvo, pozimi pa obratno. Ta sistem je življenjskega pomena za pridelovanje riža in drugih kultur.
⚡ Pomembno: Pacifiški ognjeni obroč (Japonska, Filipini, Indonezija) je najbolj potresno in vulkansko aktivno območje na svetu!
Vodovja - reke življenja in jezera rekordov
Azijske reke so pravi življenjski žili celotnih civilizacij. Večina največjih izvira v Himalaji in se izliva v tri oceane. V Tihi ocean tečeta Huang He (Rumena reka) in Jangce, v Indijski ocean Ganges in Ind, v Severno ledeno morje pa sibirski velikani Ob, Jenisej in Lena.
Kaspijsko jezero je tehnično največje jezero na svetu, čeprav je slano. Bajkalsko jezero pa drži rekord v globini in količini sladke vode - vsebuje kar 20 % vse sladke vode na Zemlji!
Aralsko jezero je žalosten primer ekološke katastrofe. Zaradi preusmerjanja rek za namakanje bombaža se je skrčilo za več kot 90 % in praktično izginilo.
🌊 Zanimivost: Ganges ni le reka, ampak sveta reka za hindujce - ritualno kopanje v njej je del njihove vere, kljub temu da je hudo onesnažena!
Prebivalstvo - tu živi več kot polovica sveta
Poselitev v Aziji je izjemno neenakomerna. Gosto poseljena območja so Vzhodna Kitajska, Japonska, Indija in otok Java - tu se stiskajo milijarde ljudi zaradi ugodnega podnebja in rodovitne zemlje.
Redko poseljena območja pa so Sibirija, Tibet, puščave Srednje Azije in notranjost Arabskega polotoka. Razlike so dramatične - od nekaj ljudi na km² do več tisoč v mestnih območjih.
Kitajska je imela politiko enega otroka, da bi zajezila rast prebivalstva, medtem ko v drugih delih Azije še vedno beležijo visoko rast. Skupaj živi v Aziji okoli 4,5 milijarde ljudi.
Kulturni krogi v Aziji so izjemno raznoliki - islamski na zahodu, indijski v Južni Aziji, kitajski v osrednji in vzhodni del, japonski pa je edinstven.

This apps acc the goat. I find revision so boring but this app makes it so easy to organize it all and then you can ask the freeeee ai to test yourself so good and you can easily upload your own stuff. highly recommend as someone taking mocks now
