Filosofía de Aristóteles y Platón: Realidad y Conocimiento

La visión de la realidad según cada filósofo es completamente opuesta. Aristóteles creía que la realidad está formada por materia (la substancia física) y forma (las esencias que dan significado a las cosas). Para él, el mundo que vemos y tocamos es real, y el cambio y movimiento son parte natural de la existencia.

Platón, en cambio, pensaba que existen dos mundos separados. El mundo real está formado por ideas eternas, inmutables y perfectas que solo podemos alcanzar con la razón. El mundo de los sentidos es donde vivimos físicamente, pero es imperfecto e irracional, y nuestros sentidos nos engañan constantemente.

Sus teorías del conocimiento también difieren radicalmente. Aristóteles defendía que conocemos a través de los sentidos y negaba las ideas innatas - todo lo aprendemos observando y usando nuestro entendimiento. Platón creía en la reminiscencia: las ideas son innatas y conocer es recordar lo que el alma ya sabe.

¿Sabías que...? Según Platón, tu alma viaja entre ambos mundos, y por eso a veces "reconoces" algo nuevo - en realidad lo estás recordando del mundo de las ideas.

Para Platón, el verdadero conocimiento se alcanza mediante la dianoia (ideas matemáticas) y la noesis (conocimiento verdadero), usando el método de la dialéctica para llegar a las verdades absolutas.
