Hindu Gods and the Ramayana Epic
Hindu beliefs centre around powerful gods who each have special roles in the universe. The Trimurti are the three main gods: Brahma (the creator), Vishnu (the maintainer), and Shiva (the destroyer). Each has a divine wife who's equally important - Saraswati represents knowledge, Lakshmi brings wealth, and Parvati embodies the universe's creative force.
The Ramayana is one of Hinduism's greatest stories, mixing adventure with important life lessons. It tells how the demon king Ravana terrorised wise people, forcing the god Vishnu to be reborn as Prince Rama to stop him. When Rama's wife Sita gets kidnapped by Ravana, an epic rescue mission begins.
The story's packed with magic, talking animals, and clever tricks. Rama gets help from Hanuman, a monkey god, and his loyal brother Lakshmana. After many battles and adventures, good triumphs over evil when Rama defeats Ravana and rescues Sita.
