Sedanjik (Present Simple) in sedanjik trajni (Present Continuous)
Ali se ti zdi angleška slovnica zapletena? V resnici ni tako huda, ko enkrat ujameš bistvo! Present Simple uporabljamo za stvari, ki jih počnemo redno - navade, rutina, dejstva. Present Continuous pa za dejanja, ki se dogajajo točno v tem trenutku.
Present Simple tvorimo enostavno: jaz + glagol v osnovni obliki. Samo pri 3. osebi ednine (he, she, it) dodamo -s ali -es. Primer: I play, she plays.
Present Continuous pa potrebuje malo več dela: oseba + am/is/are + glagol z -ing končnico. Primer: I am playing, she is playing now.
💡 Nasvet: Išči ključne besede! "Every day" = Present Simple, "right now" = Present Continuous.
Kdaj uporabimo Present Simple?
Present Simple je tvoj najboljši prijatelj za vsakdanje stvari! Uporabi ga za navade in rutino - stvari, ki jih počneš redno. "I get up at 7 every morning" ali "My brother watches TV after school".
Prav tako ga rabiš za splošne resnice in dejstva, ki so vedno resnična. "The Sun rises in the east" in "Water boils at 100 degrees" - to so dejstva, ki se ne spreminjajo.
Ne pozabi na vozne rede in urnike! "Our English class starts at 9:45" - to je fiksni urnik.
Tvorba je preprosta: za vprašanja in nikalnice uporabi do/does, glagol pa je vedno v osnovni obliki. Does he like pizza? (NE: Does he likes?)
💡 Nasvet: Pri vprašanjih in nikalnicah glagol nikoli nima -s končnice!
Kdaj uporabimo Present Continuous?
Present Continuous je za dejanja, ki se dogajajo ravno zdaj! "I am writing my notes right now" ali "Be quiet! The baby is sleeping" - to so stvari v tem trenutku.
Uporabi ga tudi za začasna dejanja v tem obdobju. "She is reading a very interesting book this week" - morda ravno zdaj ne bere, ampak je to njena trenutna aktivnost.
Tvorba: am/is/are + glagol z -ing. Pazi na pravopisne spremembe: write → writing (e odpade), sit → sitting (podvojimo soglasnik).
Obstajajo glagoli stanja, ki jih ne smemo uporabiti v -ing obliki: love, like, want, know, understand. "I understand" je pravilno, "I am understanding" pa napaka!
💡 Nasvet: Besede "Listen!" in "Look!" so jasni znaki za Present Continuous.
Primeri in vaje
Preizkusimo znanje na konkretnih primerih! "Do you usually go to school by bus?" - beseda "usually" pove, da gre za navado, torej Present Simple.
"Listen! Somebody is singing." - "Listen!" pomeni, da se dogaja zdaj, zato Present Continuous.
Pogoste napake, ki se jih izogni: pozabiti -s pri 3. osebi ednine ("My sister plays"), pozabiti am/is/are v Present Continuous ("He is reading"), uporabiti -ing z glagoli stanja ("I know" NE "I am knowing").
Ključ do uspeha so signalne besede: always, usually, every day → Present Simple; now, at the moment, Listen! → Present Continuous.

This apps acc the goat. I find revision so boring but this app makes it so easy to organize it all and then you can ask the freeeee ai to test yourself so good and you can easily upload your own stuff. highly recommend as someone taking mocks now
