Kaj je razsvetljeni absolutizem?

Osnove razsvetljenega absolutizma
Predstavljaj si vladarje, ki imajo vso oblast, a hkrati želijo biti "dobri" in progresivni. To je razsvetljeni absolutizem v 18. stoletju!
Ti vladarji so kombinirali absolutno moč z razsvetljenskimi idejami kot so razum, napredek in izobrazba. Njihov glavni cilj pa ni bila samo sreča ljudi - šlo jim je predvsem za močnejšo in bogatejšo državo.
Ključni pojmi, ki jih moraš poznati:
- Centralizacija - vse odločitve se sprejemajo v enem centru (npr. Dunaj)
- Birokracija - izobraženi uradniki, zvesti vladarju
- Reforme - spremembe za izboljšanje davkov, šolstva, vojske
💡 Zapomni si: Moto "Vse za ljudstvo, nič z ljudstvom" pomeni, da so delali reforme brez vprašanja ljudi za mnenje!
Marija Terezija in njene reforme (1740-1780)
Marija Terezija je bila pragmatična vladarica, ki je državo okrepila po slabotnih vojnah. Njene reforme so bile premišljene in uspešne.
Njena najpomembnejša dosežka sta bila Terezijanski kataster (popis vse zemlje za pravičnejše davke) in šolska reforma iz leta 1774. Uvedla je obvezno šolanje za vse otroke med 6. in 12. letom - predstavljaj si, kako revolucionarno je to bilo!
Poleg tega je centralizirala upravo z gubernijami in okrožji, uvedla hišne številke ter omejila tlako na 3 dni tedensko. Spodbujala je tudi nove poljščine kot krompir in koruzo.
💡 Pomembno za test: Šolska reforma = 1774 = Marija Terezija. Ne zamenjaj z Jožefovimi reformami!
Jožef II. - radikalni reformator (1780-1790)
Sin Marije Terezije je bil popolna nasprotnost svoje matere - radikalen, neučakan in hiter. Želel je čim hitreje modernizirati državo, a je preslabo ocenil odpor.
Njegovi glavni dosežki sta Tolerančni patent (1781) za versko svobodo in Nevoljniški patent (1782), ki je odpravil osebno odvisnost kmetov. Kmetje so se končno lahko svobodno selili in poročali!
Vendar je naredil tudi veliko napak. Uvedel je nemščino kot edini uradni jezik, kar je razjezilo nenemške narode. Ukinjal je samostane in omejeval moč Cerkve, kar je povzročilo velik odpor.
💡 Pozor: Nevoljniški patent ni odpravil fevdalizma! Kmetje so bili svobodni, a so še vedno plačevali dajatve in opravljali tlako.
Primerjava vladarjev in njihov uspeh
Razlika med materjo in sinom je bila ogromna. Marija Terezija je bila previdna katoličanka, ki se je posvetovala s svetovalci. Jožef II. je bil radikalen "prosvetljeni" vladar, ki ni poslušal nikogar.
Marija Terezija je dosegla dolgoročne uspehe: okrepila je državo, uvedla sodobno upravo in šolstvo. Njene reforme so bile postopne in sprejemljive.
Jožef II. je naletel na odpor vseh družbenih skupin - plemstva (izgubilo privilegije), Cerkve (izgubila moč), kmetov (strah pred novostmi) in nenemških narodov (zaradi nemščine). Pred smrtjo je moral večino reform preklicati.
💡 Za teste: Letnice 1774 (šolska), 1781 (tolerančni), 1782 (nevoljniški patent). Glavna razlika - Marija Terezija uspešna, Jožef II. neuspešen!
Posledice za slovenske dežele in povzetek
Reforme razsvetljenih absolutistov so pustile trajen pečat na slovenskih deželah. Začelo se je obvezno šolstvo, izboljšal se je položaj kmetov, a okrepil se je tudi nemški vpliv.
Ključni povzetek za test:
- Razsvetljeni absolutizem = absolutna oblast + razsvetljenske ideje
- Marija Terezija: kataster, šolstvo (1774), centralizacija - uspešna!
- Jožef II.: tolerančni (1781), nevoljniški patent (1782), nemščina - neuspešen!
Najpomembneje - fevdalizem ni bil odpravljen! To se je zgodilo šele leta 1848. Jožef je le odpravil osebno odvisnost, ne pa tudi gospodarskega izkoriščanja kmetov.
