Kako so Slovani postali kristjani in del Frankovske države

Začetek sprememb - nevarnost z vzhoda
Predstavljaj si, da tvoja država ni dovolj močna, da bi se ubranila napadov. Prav to se je zgodilo Karantaniji. Obrani, nasilno nomadsko ljudstvo, so stalno napadali našo prvo slovensko državo z vzhoda.
Karantanski knez Borut je hitro spoznal, da sam ne more premagati te nevarnosti. Zato se je obrnil na zahodne sosede - Bavarce, ki so bili pod oblastjo močnih Frankov.
Zapomni si: Pokristjanjevanje se je začelo zaradi vojaške ogroženosti, ne zaradi verskih razlogov!
Ključni pojmi, ki jih moraš poznati, so pokristjanjevanje (sprejem krščanske vere namesto starih slovanskih bogov) in misijonarji (duhovniki, ki so širili novo vero). Karantanija je bila prva slovenska država, Frankovska država pa ogromna in močna država v srednji Evropi.
Cena za vojaško pomoč
Bavarci in Franki so res pomagali premagati Obrane, ampak njihova pomoč ni bila zastonj. Karantanija je izgubila svojo samostojnost in morala priznati nadoblast Frankovske države.
Kot dokaz zvestobe je moral knez Borut poslati svojega sina Gorazda in nečaka Hotimirja na Bavarsko. Tam sta se šolala in sprejela krščansko vero. Ko je Hotimir odrasel in postal knez, je s seboj pripeljal krščanske misijonarje.
Pomembno za test: Prvi krščanski knezi Karantanije sta bila Gorazd in Hotimir!
Misijonarji so prihajali predvsem iz Salzburga in Irske. Znan je bil sveti Modest. Gradili so prve cerkve, pogosto na mestih starih slovanskih svetišč, ustanavljali samostane in pridgali o enem Bogu namesto več slovanskih bogov, kot sta bila Perun in Svarog.
Težave in upori ljudstva
Ljudem nova vera in tuji vladarji niso bili všeč. Največja težava je bila, da misijonarji niso znali slovanskega jezika - govorili so latinsko, ljudje jih niso razumeli.
Poleg tega so se ljudje upirali, ker so hoteli ohraniti svoje stare bogove in običaje. Uprli so se tudi proti Frankom, ker so jim morali plačevati davke. Vendar je frankovska vojska vse upore zadušila in oblast postala še močnejša.
Aha moment: Zaradi jezikovnih težav so misijonarji spoznali, da morajo prevajati v slovanski jezik!
Stari običaji so počasi izginjali. Primer je ustoličevanje na Knežjem kamnu - star slovanski obred, ki so ga Franki sčasoma ukinili. Tako so naši predniki postopoma izgubljali svojo identiteto.
Najpomembnejša posledica - Brižinski spomeniki
Ker ljudje latinščine niso razumeli, so misijonarji začeli prevajati molitve in verska besedila v slovanski jezik. Tako so nastali Brižinski spomeniki - najstarejši ohranjeni zapisi v slovenskem jeziku!
To je bila zelo pomembna posledica pokristjanjevanja. Brez te potrebe po prevajanju morda ne bi imeli tako zgodnjih zapisov v našem jeziku. Brižinski spomeniki so začetek naše književnosti.
Za test si zapomni: Brižinski spomeniki so nastali zaradi potrebe po širjenju vere v domačem jeziku!
Pokristjanjevanje je imelo dobre in slabe posledice. Dobro: postali smo del evropske kulture, dobili pismenost, spoznali nova znanja. Slabo: izgubili smo samostojnost, stare običaje in morali plačevati davke Frankom.
Hiter pregled za ponavljanje
Celotna zgodba v kratkem: Obrani ogrožajo Karantanijo → knez Borut prosi Franke za pomoč → Franki pomagajo, a Karantanija izgubi samostojnost → Gorazd in Hotimir postaneta kristjana → misijonarji širijo krščanstvo → ljudstvo se upira → nastanejo Brižinski spomeniki.
Ključna misel za test: Sprejem krščanstva ni bil verska odločitev, ampak posledica političnih dogodkov - izguba samostojnosti v zameno za vojaško pomoč proti Obranom.
Zapomni si za test: Glavne osebe (Borut, Gorazd, Hotimir), glavni razlog (nevarnost Obranov) in najpomembnejšo posledico (Brižinski spomeniki).
Ta dogodek je oblikoval našo zgodovino - postali smo del večje evropske skupnosti, a hkrati začeli izgubljati svojo prvotno identiteto. Krščanstvo je prineslo pismenost, a tudi konec stare slovanske kulture.

This apps acc the goat. I find revision so boring but this app makes it so easy to organize it all and then you can ask the freeeee ai to test yourself so good and you can easily upload your own stuff. highly recommend as someone taking mocks now
