Nacionalna gibanja in oblikovanje držav: Primeri Italije, Nemčije in Slovencev

Nacionalizem spremeni Evropo
Predstavljaj si Evropo kot veliko sestavljanko, kjer so ljudje iste kulture in jezika živeli razpršeno po različnih državah. V 19. stoletju se je to začelo spreminjati.
Nacionalizem je ideja, da bi vsak narod imel svojo državo. Nacija pa so ljudje z istim jezikom, kulturo in zgodovino. Leta 1848, imenovano "pomlad narodov", so po vsej Evropi izbruhnile revolucije z nacionalnimi zahtevami.
Različni narodi so imeli različne cilje. Nekateri so želeli združitev (unifikacijo) manjših državic v večjo državo, drugi pa avtonomijo - samoupravo znotraj večje države. Politiki so za dosego ciljev uporabljali realpolitiko - praktično politiko, ki temelji na moči, ne na idealih.
Pomembno za test: Razlikuj med unifikacijo (Italija, Nemčija) in avtonomijo (Slovenci)!
Združitev Italije - od razdrobljenosti do enotnosti
Italija je bila kot razbit lonček - polna majhnih državic. Vodilna pri združevanju je bila Kraljevina Sardinija-Piemont, medtem ko je Avstrija obvladovala sever.
Tri ključne osebnosti so bile kot super ekipa: Giuseppe Mazzini (idejni vodja, "duša"), Camillo Cavour (politik in diplomat, "možgani") ter Giuseppe Garibaldi (vojskovodja z rdečesrajčniki, "meč").
Združevanje je potekalo po korakih: 1859 je Piemont z vojno in francosko pomočjo dobil Lombardijo. Leta 1860 je Garibaldi s "pohodom tisočih" osvojil jug Italije. Leta 1861 je bila razglašena Kraljevina Italija, vendar brez Rima in Benečije. Benečija je bila pridobljena 1866, Rim pa 1870, ko je postal prestolnica.
Ključno: Leta 1870 je bila združitev končno dokončana z zavzetjem Rima.
Bismarck združi Nemčijo "s krvjo in železom"
Nemčija je bila razdeljena na okoli 39 državic v ohlapni Nemški zvezi. Za vodstvo sta tekmovali Avstrija in Prusija - zmagala je močnejša Prusija.
Otto von Bismarck, imenovan "železni kancler", je bil mojster realpolitike. Njegov načrt je bil jasen: združiti Nemčijo z vojnami, ne z govori.
Bismarck je načrtno sprožil tri vojne. Prva z Dansko (1864) je bila samo uvod. Druga z Avstrijo (1866) je izključila Avstrijo iz nemškega združevanja in ustanovila Severnonemško zvezo. Tretja s Francijo (1870-1871) je bila odločilna - Bismarck je s provokacijo užalil Francoze, ti so napovedali vojno in izgubili.
Zapomni si: Tri Bismarckove vojne po vrsti: Danska → Avstrija → Francija
Rojstvo Nemškega cesarstva v Versaillesu
- januarja 1871 je bilo v dvorani ogledal versaillske palače - kar je bila huda žalitev za poraženo Francijo - razglašeno Nemško cesarstvo. Pruski kralj Viljem I. je postal nemški cesar (Kaiser).
To je bil zgodovinski trenutek, ki je popolnoma spremenil razmerje moči v Evropi. Nemčija je postala najmočnejša kontinentalna sila.
Bismarckova realpolitika je bila brutalno učinkovita. Z načrtnimi vojnami je dosegel, kar drugim ni uspelo z diplomacijo. Njegov pristop "krvi in železa" je postal vzor za kasnejšo nemško politiko.
Združitev je pomenila, da je bila iz razdrobljenega nemškega sveta ustvarjena moderna, industrijska velesila, ki je postala tekmec drugim evropskim silam.
Za test: Leto 1871 je ključno - nastanek združene Nemčije je spremenil Evropo!
Slovenski boj za narodne pravice
Slovenci nismo imeli svojih državic za združevanje, zato so bile naše zahteve drugačne. Živeli smo v avstrijskem cesarstvu, razdeljeni po več deželah (Kranjska, Štajerska, Koroška).
Naš najvažnejši program je bila Zedinjena Slovenija (1848) s tremi glavnimi zahtevami: združitev vseh slovenskih dežel v eno enoto, uvedba slovenskega jezika v šole in urade ter ustanovitev lastnega parlamenta.
Program ni bil uresničen, a je ostal naš glavni cilj do 1918. Slovenci so se organizirali v čitalnicah (kulturna društva) in taborih (velika zborovanja na prostem). Največji tabor je bil v Vižmarjih pri Ljubljani.
Politično smo se razdelili na staroslovence (vodja Janez Bleiweis, konservativni) in mladoslovence (vodja Fran Levstik, liberalni).
Ključno: Program Zedinjene Slovenije - tri zahteve moraš znati našteti!
Kaj moraš vedeti za test
Za razliko od Italijanov in Nemcev, ki so združevali obstoječe državice, smo se Slovenci borili za avtonomijo znotraj večje države. To je bila naša realnost in naša pot.
Primerjava: Italijo je vodil Piemont (Cavour), Nemčijo Prusija (Bismarck), Slovence pa ni vodila nobena država - morali smo se zanašati nase.
Ključne letnice: 1848 (pomlad narodov, program Zedinjene Slovenije), 1866 (Benečija k Italiji), 1870 (Rim k Italiji), 1871 (Nemško cesarstvo).
Ne pozabi: Mazzini je bil ideolog, Cavour politik, Garibaldi vojskovodja. Bismarck je bil vse skupaj - "železni kancler", ki je z načrtnimi vojnami ustvaril Nemško cesarstvo.
