Kaj sta renesansa in humanizem
Predstavljaj si, da bi nekega dne vsi naenkrat začeli razmišljati popolnoma drugače kot prej. Točno to se je zgodilo v 14. stoletju v Italiji!
Renesansa pomeni "ponovno rojstvo" in označuje čas, ko so se ljudje navduševali nad antično grško in rimsko kulturo. Umetniki so začeli slikati in kipariti tako realistično, kot so to počeli stari mojstri iz antike.
Humanizem pa je način razmišljanja, ki postavlja človeka v središče. Humanisti so verjeli v naše sposobnosti, razum in ustvarjalnost. Preučevali so stara grška in rimska dela ter poudarjali pomen izobrazbe.
💡 Zapomni si: Humanizem je ideja (razmišljanje), renesansa pa je obdobje (ustvarjanje)!
Glavne značilnosti renesanse
V srednjem veku je bil v središču Bog, zdaj pa je tam človek z vsemi svojimi sposobnostmi in čustvi! To se imenuje antropocentrizem.
Ljudje so se zgledovali po antiki - kopirali so grške stebre, rimske kupole in preučevali stare knjige. Hoteli so ustvarjati enako dobro ali še bolje kot nekdanji mojstri.
Začel se je tudi razvoj znanosti. Namesto da bi samo brali stare knjige, so ljudje začeli opazovati naravo in delati poskuse. Najvažnejši izum? Tiskarski stroj Johannesa Gutenberga okoli leta 1450!
V umetnosti je vladal realizem. Slikarji so se naučili perspektive (kako narediti globino na sliki) in anatomije, da so ljudi naslikali čim bolj resnično.
💡 Zanimivost: Izum tiska je bil takrat tako revolucionaren kot danes internet - nenadoma so se ideje širile bliskovito hitro!
Zakaj prav Italija?
Italija ni bila naključna izbira za začetek renesanse. Imela je vse, kar je potrebovala za tako revolucijo!
Najprej - denar. Bogata trgovska mesta kot so Firence, Benetke in Genova so imela dovolj denarja za podporo umetnikov. Meceni (bogati podporniki) kot družina Medičejcev so plačevali umetnikom za njihova dela.
Potem - navdih. Povsod po Italiji so bili ostanki mogočnega Rimskega imperija. Kako ne bi bili navdušeni nad antiko, če so imeli ruševine pred vrati?
Na koncu pa še lokacija - Italija je bila trgovska križišče med Evropo in Vzhodom, kar je pomenilo izmenjavo idej in znanja.
💡 Preprosta formula: Denar + antični ostanki + trgovina = popolne razmere za renesanso!
Renesančni geniji
Leonardo da Vinci (1452-1519) je bil pravi "univerzalni genij". Naslikal je Mona Liso, izumljal leteče stroje in preučeval človežko telo. Bil je slikar, znanstvenik, izumitelj in arhitekt hkrati!
Michelangelo (1475-1564) je ustvaril kip Davida, ki še danes osuplja obiskovalce v Firencah. Štiri leta je ležal na hrbtu in slikal strop Sikstinske kapele - predstavljaj si, kako ga je bolel vrat!
Johannes Gutenberg morda ni bil Italijan, ampak je z izumom tiskarskega stroja spremenil svet. Nenadoma so knjige postale dostopne vsem, ne samo bogatašem.
Ti možje niso bili samo talentirani - bili so radovedni in pogumni. Upali so se spraševati, raziskovati in ustvarjati novo.
💡 Za test: Zapomni si, da so renesančni umetniki združevali umetnost z znanostjo - niso bili samo "umetniki"!
Kaj moraš vedeti za test
Ne zabiraj renesanse in humanizma! Humanizem je filozofija (način razmišljanja), renesansa pa zgodovinsko obdobje, ko so se te ideje uresničile v umetnosti in znanosti.
Ključne besede za pomniti:

- Realizem v umetnosti (perspektiva, anatomija)
- Meceni (bogati pokrovitelji umetnosti)

Pozor na pogoste napake: Renesančni ljudje niso bili proti veri! Še vedno so verjeli v Boga, samo začeli so razmišljati tudi o drugih stvareh. Veliko renesančnih umetnin ima versko vsebino.
Zapomni si tudi, da se je vse začelo v Italiji v 14. stoletju in se šele kasneje razširilo po Evropi.
