Razumevanje renesančne književnosti: humanistične ideje in avtorji

Osnove renesanse
Renesansa pomeni "preporod" - konkretno preporod antične grške in rimske kulture, ki je bil skrit v času srednjega veka. Predstavljaj si, da so ljudje nenadoma odkrili staro zakladnico znanja in jo začeli uporabljati za gradnjo čisto novega sveta.
Največja sprememba? Prehod iz teocentrizma v antropocentrizem. V srednjem veku je bil Bog v središču vsega, v renesansi pa se je v središče postavil človek. Humanizem je postal vodilna filozofska smer z geslom "Človek je merilo vseh stvari".
Ta nova miselnost je prinesla tudi individualizem - umetniki so se začeli podpisovati pod svoja dela, ker so bili ponosni nase. Pojavil se je še empirizem (spoznavanje preko opazovanja) in hedonizem (iskanje sreče v tem svetu, ne samo v onostranstvu).
Pomembno za test: Znam razložiti razliko med srednjim vekom (Bog, latinščina, anonimnost) in renesanso (človek, ljudski jeziki, individualizem)!
Italijanska renesansa
Italija je zibelka renesanse in dom dveh legend, ki jih moraš poznati. Francesco Petrarca (1304-1374) je "oče humanizma" in avtor Canzoniera - pesniške zbirke z 366 pesmi, posvečenih neuslišani ljubezni Lavri.
Petrarcova ljubezen je idealizirana, polna hrepenenja in bolečine - to se imenuje petrarkizem. Najbolj pomembno: uveljavil je italijanski sonet s shemo rime abba abba cdc dcd.
Giovanni Boccaccio (1313-1375) je napisal Dekameron - zbirko 100 novel z genijalno okvirno zgodbo. Sedem deklet in trije fantje pobegnejo pred kugo na podeželje in si 10 dni pripovedujejo zgodbe (vsak dan vsak eno).
Zgodbe so raznolike - ljubezenske, erotične, satirične - in prikazujejo resnično življenje z vsemi človeškimi slabostmi in vrlinami. To je bila revolucija, ker se prej o takšnih temah ni smelo pisati.
Ključno: Petrarca = Canzoniere + italijanski sonet, Boccaccio = Dekameron + okvirna zgodba!
Angleška renesansa in Shakespeare
William Shakespeare (1564-1616) je največji svetovni dramatik vseh časov - to ni pretiravanje, ampak dejstvo. Živel je v elizabetinski dobi, ki je bila vrhunec angleške renesanse.
Njegove drame raziskujejo globine človeške narave: ljubezen, sovraštvo, ljubosumje, oblast. Najpomembnejša dela so tragedije Romeo in Julija, Hamlet, Macbeth ter komedije Sen kresne noči in Ukročena trmoglavka.
Shakespeare je uveljavil angleški sonet s shemo rime abab cdcd efef gg. Razlika od italijanskega: tri kvartine razvijajo temo, zadnji distih (dvovrstičje) pa prinese preobrat ali poanto.
Primerjava sonetov:
- Italijanski: 2 kvartini + 2 tercini (problem → rešitev)
- Angleški: 3 kvartine + distih (razvoj teme → poanta)
Za teste: Znam razlikovati med italijanskim in angleškim sonetom ter poznam Shakespearova glavna dela!
Analiza Petrarkovega soneta
Petrarkov sonet ima natančno strukturo, ki jo moraš znati razčleniti. Vsak sonet sledi isti shemi: problem v kvartinah, rešitev v tercinah.
Prva kvartina (abba): Pesnik predstavi svojo muko zaradi neuslišane ljubezni in opiše lepoto Lavre - zlate lase, čudovite oči, ki so ga ujetale.
Druga kvartina (abba): Stopnjuje temo iz prve kitice, poudari svojo nemoč in popolno ujetost v ljubezen brez možnosti pobega.
Prva tercina (cdc): Začne se refleksija - pesnik razmišlja o svojem stanju in se sprašuje, ali je ta bolečina sladka ali grenka.
Druga tercina (dcd): Prinese zaključek in pomiritev - kljub bolečini je ta ljubezen najvišja vrednota, ki ga plemeniti in dviga nad običajne ljudi.
Pomni: Struktura problem → stopnjevanje → razmislek → rešitev je značilna za vse Petrarkove sonete!
Slovenska renesansa in povzetek
Pri nas je renesansa povezana z reformacijo v 16. stoletju. Primož Trubar (1508-1586) je napisal prvi dve slovenski tiskani knjigi: Katekizem in Abecednik (1550).
Trubarjev cilj ni bil oživljanje antike, ampak verska prenova in utrditev slovenskega jezika. Kljub temu je njegova delo del širšega renesančnega duha, ki poudarja pomen ljudskih jezikov.

- Obdobje: 14.-17. stoletje
- Ključne ideje: humanizem (človek v središču), antropocentrizem, individualizem
