Core Christian Beliefs
Ever wondered what Christians actually believe about God? The Trinity is Christianity's unique idea that God exists as three persons - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit - yet remains one God, as stated in the Nicene Creed.
Christians believe God created everything from nothing (Creation), but then did something extraordinary - God became human in Jesus Christ (Incarnation). This wasn't just a visit; it was God literally taking on human form to live amongst us.
Jesus' crucifixion and resurrection form Christianity's heart. His final meal with disciples introduced communion ("this is my body... this is my blood"), whilst his death and resurrection offer salvation - the chance for humans to be forgiven and have eternal life.
Think About It: Christians see these events not as ancient history, but as personally relevant today - affecting how they live and what they hope for after death.
Christian Views on Relationships and Family
Your relationships matter more than you might think - at least according to Christian teaching. Marriage isn't just a legal contract but a sacred bond where "two shall become one flesh," creating something entirely new.
Sexual relationships are viewed through this lens too. The Catholic Church teaches that sexuality belongs within marriage between man and woman, designed for both love and creating new life. This shapes their stance on contraception - seen as interfering with God's design.
Family gets elevated status as "the first and vital cell of society." Jesus' words "Let the little children come to me" show how Christianity values children and family support. However, divorce creates tension - whilst Jesus said "what God has joined together, let no one separate," churches wrestle with supporting struggling families.
Key Point: Christianity promotes gender equality through Paul's teaching that "there is neither male nor female, for you are all one in Jesus Christ," though different denominations interpret this differently regarding church leadership.

This apps acc the goat. I find revision so boring but this app makes it so easy to organize it all and then you can ask the freeeee ai to test yourself so good and you can easily upload your own stuff. highly recommend as someone taking mocks now
