Ökumene und Entkonfessionalisierung
Die Ökumene hat seit dem 20. Jahrhundert zu einer Annäherung der christlichen Kirchen geführt, während gleichzeitig eine "Entkonfessionalisierung" zu beobachten ist.
Entwicklung der Ökumene
- Die Reformation versuchte zunächst, die römisch-katholische Kirche zu reformieren.
- Bis zum Zweiten Vatikanischen Konzil war eine Annäherung der Kirchen undenkbar.
- In der Schweiz gab es seit 1946 ökumenische Gesprächsrunden.
- 1966 wurde die "Arbeitsgemeinschaft christlicher Kirchen in der Schweiz" gegründet.
- In den 1980er Jahren geriet der ökumenische Wandel ins Stocken.
Konfessionelle Milieus und Entkonfessionalisierung
- Konfessionelle Milieus prägten früher das soziale und religiöse Leben.
- Seit dem Zweiten Weltkrieg ist ein Zerfall dieser Milieus zu beobachten.
- Die religiöse Erziehung lastet zunehmend allein auf den Familien.
- Die Bedeutung der Konfessionszugehörigkeit bei der Partnerwahl hat abgenommen.
- Eine fortschreitende "Entkonfessionalisierung" wird von Forschern festgestellt.
