Ever wondered how scientists figured out what's inside the Earth...
Seismic Waves - AQA GCSE Physics Triple Topic Explained

Seismic Waves and Earth's Structure
When earthquakes strike, they create two types of seismic waves that travel through the Earth like ripples in a pond. These waves are brilliant natural tools that help scientists understand what's happening deep inside our planet.
P-waves (primary waves) are longitudinal waves that move faster than their counterpart and can travel through both solids and liquids. Think of them as the speedy messengers that arrive first at monitoring stations around the world.
S-waves (secondary waves) are transverse waves that move more slowly and have a crucial limitation - they can only travel through solids. This characteristic makes them incredibly useful for detecting different materials inside the Earth.
The Earth has four main layers: the crust (solid), mantle (solid), outer core (liquid), and inner core (solid). The fact that the outer core is liquid whilst the others are solid is key to understanding how seismic waves behave.
Quick Tip: Remember "P for Primary and Penetrates everything" and "S for Secondary and Solids only" - this will help you recall their properties!

The app is very easy to use and well designed. I have found everything I was looking for so far and have been able to learn a lot from the presentations! I will definitely use the app for a class assignment! And of course it also helps a lot as an inspiration.
This app is really great. There are so many study notes and help [...]. My problem subject is French, for example, and the app has so many options for help. Thanks to this app, I have improved my French. I would recommend it to anyone.
Wow, I am really amazed. I just tried the app because I've seen it advertised many times and was absolutely stunned. This app is THE HELP you want for school and above all, it offers so many things, such as workouts and fact sheets, which have been VERY helpful to me personally.
