There are loads of hair removal methods available today - from traditional shaving and tweezing to modern laser treatments and threading. Each has its place, but waxing strikes that perfect balance between effectiveness and accessibility.
Top Tip: Always have clients exfoliate before their appointment and avoid exercising right before treatment - it opens the pores and can increase sensitivity!
Sterilisation and Hygiene Standards

Setting up for a lower leg wax requires proper preparation. Your wax heater should be set between dial 3-4 with the light on, always plugged into the floor socket to avoid trailing wires (major health and safety hazard!). Strip the bed completely and place a bed liner at the front of your workspace.
Pro Tip: Remove unnecessary furniture like white trolleys and chairs from your working area - you need clear space to work safely and efficiently.
