Základní informace o knize
Tohle není jen další román – je to skutečný příběh, který v roce 1978 šokoval celý svět. Kai Hermann, novinář z časopisů Zeit a Spiegel, sepsal zpověď Christiane Felscherinow a vytvořil dílo, které se stalo mezinárodním bestselerem.
Kniha má 366 stran plných nekompromisních detailů o tom, jak vypadá život drogově závislého teenagera. Byla přeložena do desítek jazyků a inspirovala jak filmové, tak televizní adaptace.
Hermann napsal i další knihy o problematických mladých lidech, ale žádná nedosáhla takového ohlasu jako tento otřesný příběh z berlínského podsvětí 70. let.
Zajímavost: Kniha vznikla na základě rozhovorů s reálnou Christiane, která chtěla varovat ostatní před drogami.
Příběh čtrnáctileté Christiane
Představ si čtrnáctiletou holku z rozvrácené rodiny, která poprvé ochutnává heroin a okamžitě se zamiluje do jeho účinků. Christiane Felscherinow žije s alkoholickými rodiči, cítí se zanedbávaná a drogy jí nabízejí únik z reality.
Společně se svými přáteli – romantickým partnerem Detlefem, kamarádkou Kessi a dealerem Bennem – zažívá vzestupy i katastrofální pády. Jejich život se točí kolem stanice Zoo v Berlíně, kde shánějí drogy a peníze.
Kniha tě provede celým procesem od prvního kontaktu s heroinem až po opakované pokusy o léčbu. Christiane je několikrát zatčena, prochází odvykací léčbou, ale zůstat "čistá" je pro ni neuvěřitelně těžké.
Hlavní postavy zahrnují také Christianinu sestru Anette a kamarádky Stellu s Babette – všechny se potýkají s důsledky drogové závislosti ve svém okolí.
Důležité: Příběh ukazuje, jak rychle se může život mladého člověka zhroutit kvůli drogám.
Záměr a poselství díla
Christiane F. nechtěla glorifikovat drogový život – naopak. Její cílem bylo ukázat surovou realitu bez příkras a varovat ostatní před tím, co drogy dokážou udělat s lidským životem.
Kniha funguje jako odstrašující příklad dopadu tvrdých drog, zejména heroinu, na tělo i psychiku mladého člověka. Každá stránka ti připomíná, že drogy nejsou cool nebo vzrušující – jsou destruktivní.
