The Times, first published in 1785, represents the opposite political spectrum as a predominantly right-wing newspaper. Owned by News Corp (part of a massive vertically integrated conglomerate), it launched Times Radio in 2020, showing how traditional media expands across different platforms to maximise audience reach and minimise financial risk.
