Was ist ein Prisma?
Ein Prisma ist keine einzelne Form, sondern eine ganze Gruppe von geometrischen Körpern. Die Besonderheit: Die Grundfläche eines Prismas kann ein beliebiges Vieleck sein - ein Dreieck, Viereck, Sechseck oder noch mehr Ecken! Die Grundfläche und Deckfläche sind immer identisch und parallel zueinander.
Bei jedem Prisma findest du eine Grundfläche, eine Deckfläche und eine Mantelfläche. Die Mantelfläche besteht aus Rechtecken - bei einem Dreiecksprisma sind es drei Rechtecke, bei einem Sechsecksprisma sechs Rechtecke. Wenn du dir die Mantelfläche aufgeklappt vorstellst, ergibt sie immer ein großes Rechteck.
Das Besondere an allen Prisma-Arten: Ihre Seitenkanten sind immer parallel und gleich lang. So kannst du verschiedene Prismen-Körper leicht erkennen, egal ob es sich um ein dreiseitiges, vierseitiges oder mehrseitiges Prisma handelt.
💡 Wusstest du? Ein Würfel ist auch ein Prisma! Genauer gesagt ein Prisma mit quadratischer Grundfläche, bei dem alle Kanten gleich lang sind.
Volumen eines Prismas berechnen
Die Volumen-Formel für ein Prisma ist eigentlich ganz einfach:
V = G · h
Dabei ist G die Fläche der Grundfläche und h die Höhe des Prismas. Je nach Form der Grundfläche (Dreieck, Viereck, etc.) berechnest du zuerst deren Flächeninhalt. Anschließend multiplizierst du diesen Wert mit der Höhe des Prismas.
Diese Prisma-Formel funktioniert für alle Arten von Prismen, egal ob Dreiecksprisma, Quader oder ein Prisma mit einer anderen Grundfläche. Mit einem Prisma Volumen Rechner kannst du diese Berechnung auch online durchführen.
