Liczby wymierne - co to takiego?
Liczby wymierne to wszystkie liczby, które da się zapisać jako ułamek zwykły w postaci p/q. Brzmi skomplikowanie, ale to naprawdę proste!
W tym ułamku p to dowolna liczba całkowita (może być dodatnia, ujemna lub zero). Natomiast q to też liczba całkowita, ale z jednym ważnym warunkiem - nie może być zerem (bo nie da się dzielić przez zero!).
Zbiór liczb wymiernych oznaczamy wielką literą Q. Do tego zbioru należą na przykład: 3/4, 1, 5, -3, 0, 7/8 czy nawet √4 .
💡 Ciekawostka: Każda liczba całkowita jest też liczbą wymierną! Dlaczego? Bo można ją zapisać jako ułamek z mianownikiem 1, na przykład 5 = 5/1.
