Księga Koheleta - gdy mędrzec szuka sensu życia
Wyobraź sobie, że ktoś bardzo mądry postanawia zastanowić się nad tym, czy nasze życie ma jakikolwiek sens. Właśnie tak powstała Księga Koheleta - zbiór przemyśleń w formie sentencji, których autorem prawdopodobnie był król Salomon.
Kohelet to hebrajskie słowo oznaczające mędrca, który gromadzi ludzi i przemawia do nich na zebraniach. Ten biblijny filozof dochodzi do szokującego wniosku: wszystko na ziemi jest marnością. Brzmi przygnębiająco? Spokojnie - to dopiero początek jego rozumowania.
Główną tezą księgi jest słynne wyrażenie "Vanitas vanitatum et omnia vanitas" - "marność nad marnościami i wszystko marność". Kohelet uświadamia nam, że rzeczy materialne nie mają takiej wartości jak Bóg, a nasze ziemskie dokonania w obliczu wieczności tracą na znaczeniu.
Ale uwaga - Kohelet wcale nie radzi popadać w depresję! Przeciwnie, mówi: korzystaj z życia umiejętnie i pamiętaj, że czeka cię sąd ostateczny. To znaczy, że mimo wszystko powinniśmy cieszyć się życiem, ale robić to mądrze i odpowiedzialnie.
💡 Pamiętaj: Księga uczy nas, że prawdziwa mądrość polega na zastanawianiu się nad życiem i znajdowaniu równowagi między radością a odpowiedzialnością.
