Sistemul Binar și Codul Morse
Sistemul binar folosește doar două cifre: 0 și 1. Este esențial în informatică și funcționarea tuturor dispozitivelor digitale pe care le folosești zilnic.
Într-un număr binar, fiecare poziție reprezintă o putere a lui 2, începând de la dreapta cu 2⁰ (care este 1), apoi 2¹ (care este 2), 2² (care este 4) și așa mai departe. Pentru a converti un număr binar în zecimal, aduni valorile pozițiilor unde apare cifra 1.
De exemplu, numărul binar 011010 se transformă în zecimal astfel: 16 + 8 + 2 = 26. Similar, 100110 devine 32 + 4 + 2 = 38, iar 101101 se transformă în 32 + 8 + 4 + 1 = 45.
Știai că? Codul Morse, inventat acum aproximativ 200 de ani de Samuel Morse, este încă folosit în situații de urgență! Folosește puncte și linii pentru a reprezenta litere și cifre, permițând comunicarea chiar și în condiții dificile.
Alfabetul Braille
Alfabetul Braille este un sistem ingenios care permite persoanelor nevăzătoare să citească prin atingere. A fost inventat de Louis Braille și folosește combinații de puncte în relief pentru a reprezenta literele și cifrele.
Inițial, sistemul avea 11 puncte, fiind conceput pentru citirea scrisorilor pe întuneric. Cu timpul, s-a simplificat la sistemul actual cu doar 6 puncte, care s-a dovedit mult mai eficient și mai ușor de utilizat.
Toate aceste sisteme de codificare - sistemul binar, codul Morse și alfabetul Braille - sunt moduri diferite de a transmite informații. Fiecare sistem a fost creat pentru a rezolva o problemă specifică: calculatoarele au nevoie de binar, comunicațiile la distanță folosesc Morse, iar persoanele cu deficiențe de vedere se bazează pe Braille.
Important! Deși par diferite, toate aceste sisteme au ceva în comun: folosesc combinații simple de elemente de bază pentru a crea un limbaj complex de comunicare.
