The 1066 Battles: Anglo-Saxons vs Normans

The Three Epic Battles of 1066
Picture this: you're King Harold, and suddenly everyone wants to invade your country at once! That's exactly what happened in 1066, creating a trio of battles that would decide England's fate forever.
The Battle of Fulford kicked things off on 20th September. Harald Hardrada from Norway teamed up with Tostig and assembled a massive army of 10,000 men. They sailed across to grab power in England, and things got serious quickly. Harald Hardrada captured the city of York and set up camp about 15 miles south at Stamford Bridge, basically announcing "we're here to stay."
Meanwhile, King Harold was down south waiting for William of Normandy to invade (because apparently one invasion wasn't enough). But when he heard about the Norwegian threat, he knew he had to act fast. Even though he was expecting William, Harold couldn't just ignore a massive Viking army taking over northern England.
Key Point: Harold was literally caught between two invasions - talk about being stuck between a rock and a hard place!
The Battle of Stamford Bridge happened on 26th September, and this is where Harold showed his tactical brilliance. He assembled an army of 15,000 soldiers (including 3,000 elite housecarls) and marched north in just five days - that's lightning speed for medieval times! The English army caught Harald's forces completely by surprise, and both Tostig and Harald Hardrada were killed in the battle. Harold had won, but it cost him a third of his forces.

The app is very easy to use and well designed. I have found everything I was looking for so far and have been able to learn a lot from the presentations! I will definitely use the app for a class assignment! And of course it also helps a lot as an inspiration.
This app is really great. There are so many study notes and help [...]. My problem subject is French, for example, and the app has so many options for help. Thanks to this app, I have improved my French. I would recommend it to anyone.
Wow, I am really amazed. I just tried the app because I've seen it advertised many times and was absolutely stunned. This app is THE HELP you want for school and above all, it offers so many things, such as workouts and fact sheets, which have been VERY helpful to me personally.
