Key Conspiracies During Elizabeth I’s Reign

Plots against Elizabeth I
Ever wondered why Elizabeth I's reign was so dramatic? She literally had people plotting to kill her throughout her rule! These Catholic conspiracies all followed the same basic plan: get rid of the Protestant queen and put Mary, Queen of Scots on the throne instead.
The Ridolfi Plot (1571) kicked things off with Roberto di Ridolfi teaming up with the Duke of Norfolk and getting backing from Spain's King Philip II. Elizabeth's spymaster Cecil spotted this one coming a mile off, and Norfolk lost his head in 1572 - literally.
Things escalated with the Throckmorton Plot (1583), where Nicholas Throckmorton planned to free Mary from house arrest and restore Catholicism with French and Spanish help. Walsingham (Elizabeth's brilliant spymaster) cracked this one too, leading to the Spanish ambassador getting kicked out of England and relationships with Spain going downhill fast.
The Parry Plot (1585) was almost laughably simple - William Parry just wanted to assassinate Elizabeth directly. Problem was, he was working as a double agent and got caught red-handed, ending up hanged for treason.
Key Point: Notice how Walsingham kept saving the day? His spy network was absolutely crucial to Elizabeth's survival.
The Babington Plot (1586) was the final straw. Anthony Babington coordinated with Mary through coded letters, planning a Spanish invasion and Catholic uprising. When Walsingham intercepted those letters showing Mary's direct involvement, it sealed her fate - she was finally executed along with all the conspirators.

The app is very easy to use and well designed. I have found everything I was looking for so far and have been able to learn a lot from the presentations! I will definitely use the app for a class assignment! And of course it also helps a lot as an inspiration.
This app is really great. There are so many study notes and help [...]. My problem subject is French, for example, and the app has so many options for help. Thanks to this app, I have improved my French. I would recommend it to anyone.
Wow, I am really amazed. I just tried the app because I've seen it advertised many times and was absolutely stunned. This app is THE HELP you want for school and above all, it offers so many things, such as workouts and fact sheets, which have been VERY helpful to me personally.
