Die Außenpolitik der Weimarer Republik: Verträge, Stresemann und der Rapallo-Vertrag erklärt
Ausgangssituation und Ziele der Außenpolitik der Weimarer Republik
Nach dem Ersten Weltkrieg befand sich Deutschland in einer schwierigen Lage. Das Land hatte seine Großmachtposition verloren, musste Gebietsverluste hinnehmen und war außenpolitisch isoliert. Zudem lasteten hohe Reparationsschulden auf dem Land, und Deutschland wurde die Alleinschuld am Krieg zugeschrieben.
Highlight: Der Versailler Vertrag bildete die Grundlage für die schwierige außenpolitische Situation Deutschlands nach dem Ersten Weltkrieg.
Mit der Gründung der Weimarer Republik ergaben sich neue außenpolitische Ziele:
- Die Revision des Versailler Vertrags
- Die endgültige Regelung der Reparationszahlungen
- Die Beendigung der internationalen Isolation
