Perfect Tense and Future Tense
The Perfect Tense is your go-to for talking about what happened in the past - think "I have done" or "I went". You'll need either haben or sein plus a past participle that usually starts with ge-.
Most verbs use haben (ich habe, du hast, er hat), but movement verbs like "gehen" or "fahren" need sein (ich bin, du bist, er ist). The tricky bit? Some verbs don't follow the ge- rule, especially those starting with ver-, zer-, er-, รผber-, be-, or ge-.
The Future Tense is actually dead simple compared to English. Just use werden (ich werde, du wirst, er wird) plus the infinitive of your main verb. No complicated conjugations needed - the infinitive stays exactly the same!
Quick Tip: Remember that movement verbs like "gehen," "fahren," and "kommen" always use "sein" in the perfect tense, not "haben."
