Translations and Vectors
Translations are the simplest transformation - you're literally just sliding a shape around without changing its size or direction. Think of it like moving a piece on a board game.
Vectors are your tool for describing exactly how to move the shape. They're written as two numbers stacked on top of each other, and they work like a set of directions.
The top number tells you horizontal movement: positive means right, negative means left. The bottom number controls vertical movement: positive means up, negative means down.
Quick Tip: Remember it as "right and up are positive" - just like reading a normal graph!
