Čo je sila a jej základné pojmy
Predstav si, že tlačíš vozík - práve pôsobíš silou, ktorá spôsobuje zmenu pohybu. Sila je príčina, ktorá mení pohyb telesa alebo jeho tvar.
Sila má dva hlavné účinky. Pohybový účinok znamená, že sa zmení pohyb - napríklad lopta sa rozbehne, auto zabrzdí alebo zmení smer. Deformačný účinok znamená zmenu tvaru - keď stlačíš plastelínu alebo ohneš pravítko.
Jednotka sily je Newton so značkou N, pomenovaná podľa slávneho vedca. Jeden Newton je približne sila, ktorou Zem priťahuje malé jablko. Na meranie používame silomer (dynamometer).
Zapamätaj si: Sila vždy pôsobí na nejaké teleso a má konkrétny smer!
Ako sila funguje a jej vlastnosti
Keď kopneš do lopty, nezáleží len na tom, ako silno kopneš, ale aj ktorým smerom. Preto je sila vektorová veličina - má aj veľkosť, aj smer.
Pohybový účinok vidíš všade. Keď zatlačíš do vozíka, rozbehne sa. Keď brzdíš na bicykli, sila trenia ťa zastaví. Už letiacu loptu môžeš kopnutím zmeniť smer alebo rýchlosť.
Deformačný účinok znamená, že sila mení tvar predmetov. Keď si sadneš na vankúš, prehne sa. Keď stlačíš špongiu, zmení tvar, ale po pustení sa vráti do pôvodnej podoby.
Tip: Vždy si predstav, akým smerom sila pôsobí - je to kľúčové pre pochopenie jej účinkov!
Meranie sily pomocou silomera
Silomer funguje jednoducho - vo vnútri má pružinu, ktorá sa natiahne alebo stlačí podľa veľkosti sily. Na stupnici potom odčítaš hodnotu v Newtonoch.
Pred každým meraním si skontroluj, či je silomer nastavený na nulu. Potom zavesíš predmet na háčik alebo za háčik ťaháš a odčítaš hodnotu.
Keď chceš zmerať váhu batohu, zavesíš ho na silomer a necháš visieť. Ak silomer ukáže 20 N, znamená to, že gravitačná sila priťahuje tvoj batoh silou 20 N.
Pozor: Sila nie je to isté ako práca alebo energia - to sú úplne iné fyzikálne veličiny!
