Banquo in Macbeth: Character Mindmap and Analysis

Banquo: The Honourable Character
Banquo represents everything Macbeth could have been if he'd made different choices. Unlike Macbeth, Banquo thinks carefully before acting and always does what's morally right, even when tempted by power.
Both characters hear the same prophecies from the witches, but their reactions couldn't be more different. Banquo remains sceptical from the start, questioning whether the witches are even real with his famous line: "you look like women, but your beards won't let me believe". He's smart enough to recognise they could be "instruments of darkness" trying to lead them astray.
Banquo's conscience matters more to him than gaining power and glory. Even though he's ambitious and curious about the prophecies (he admits to dreaming about the witches), he refuses to act on their predictions. This shows incredible moral strength - he's tempted but doesn't give in.
Key Point: The prophecy describes Banquo as "less than Macbeth and greater" - he's lower in status but morally superior, which is exactly what happens throughout the play.

The app is very easy to use and well designed. I have found everything I was looking for so far and have been able to learn a lot from the presentations! I will definitely use the app for a class assignment! And of course it also helps a lot as an inspiration.
This app is really great. There are so many study notes and help [...]. My problem subject is French, for example, and the app has so many options for help. Thanks to this app, I have improved my French. I would recommend it to anyone.
Wow, I am really amazed. I just tried the app because I've seen it advertised many times and was absolutely stunned. This app is THE HELP you want for school and above all, it offers so many things, such as workouts and fact sheets, which have been VERY helpful to me personally.
