Snowball: The Idealistic Leader
Snowball stands out as the brilliant, forward-thinking pig who genuinely wants to improve life for all animals on the farm. Unlike other characters who become corrupted by power, he focuses on education and welfare programmes that would benefit everyone equally.
His progressive ideas include building a windmill for electricity and teaching other animals to read and write. Snowball believes in sharing knowledge and creating a fair society where all animals can prosper together.
However, his biggest mistake is underestimating Napoleon's ruthless ambition. While Snowball debates ideas and seeks democratic solutions, Napoleon quietly builds his power through brute force and intimidation tactics.
Key Point: Snowball represents the idealistic revolutionary who has good intentions but lacks the political cunning to survive in a corrupt system.
