Ever noticed how some adverts make you feel like you're actually experiencing something? This Eurostar advert does exactly that by using a stream of consciousness technique - basically having the narrator speak like thoughts are flowing naturally through their mind.

The whole thing revolves around the word "maybe" which appears constantly throughout. This creates a sense of infinite possibility - you could go left, right, up, down, meet different people, or have completely different experiences. It's genius marketing because it makes Paris feel like a place where anything could happen to you.

What makes this really clever is the use of lacunae - strategic silences where the narrator stops talking and lets sound effects or visuals take over. You'll hear footsteps, pigeons, music, even a dog barking. These gaps aren't accidents; they're carefully planned to let your imagination fill in the blanks.

Key Insight: The advert doesn't tell you what Paris is like - it makes you imagine your own perfect Parisian adventure. That's much more powerful than just listing tourist attractions.
