Analysing the Speaker's Attitude Towards Love
Ever noticed how people in relationships seem to glow differently? Kay captures this perfectly by showing how love transforms people's confidence and appearance. The verb "strut" suggests lovers are full of pride and arrogance, whilst those without love "trudge up and down streets" - showing they lack purpose and energy.
