Ever wondered how a simple maze can represent life's biggest challenges? This story brilliantly transforms a physical setting into a powerful metaphor for feeling lost in life's decisions and directions.
The narrator starts feeling trapped and frustrated, unsure which path will lead them out. This symbolism reflects how we often feel when facing major life choices - should I take this job, choose this subject, or follow this path? The uncertainty feels overwhelming.
The turning point comes when the narrator meets an old man who's completely relaxed about being in the maze. His advice - "choose the path you like the most" - represents a shift from anxiety to acceptance. Instead of desperately seeking an escape, he's enjoying the journey itself.
