Šta su predlozi i zašto su važni
Predlozi su kratke reči poput "in", "on", "at" koje stavljamo ispred imenica i zamenica. Oni su kao mostovi koji povezuju reči u rečenici i objašnjavaju njihove odnose.
Jedna ista reč može imati potpuno različito značenje zavisno od predloga koji ide uz nju. Na primer, "I am in the school" znači da si fizički unutar zgrade, dok "I am at school" znači da si na nastavi.
Osnovna podela predloga je vrlo jednostavna: imamo predloge za vreme (kada se nešto dešava), za mesto (gdzie se nešto nalazi), za kretanje (kuda se nešto kreće) i posebne kombinacije sa glagolima i pridevima.
Zapamti: Predlozi nemaju logiku kao matematika - ponekad ih jednostavno moraš naučiti napamet!
Predlozi za vreme: AT, ON, IN
Najlakši način da zapamtiš ova tri predloga je da ih zamišljaš kao piramidu - od najpreciznijeg (AT) do najopštijeg (IN).
AT koristiš za precizno vreme: "at 8 PM", "at midnight", "at Christmas" (kao period), i u izrazima kao što je "at night". ON stavljaš ispred dana i datuma: "on Sunday", "on my birthday", "on Christmas Day" (samo taj jedan dan).
IN koristiš za duže periode: "in August", "in 2024", "in summer", plus za delove dana "in the morning", "in the afternoon", "in the evening". Ali pazi - kažemo "at night", što je veliki izuzetak!
Trik za pamćenje: AT = tačno vreme, ON = određeni dan, IN = duži period
Predlozi za mesto: AT, ON, IN
I ovde važi ista piramida logika - od najspecifičnijeg ka najopštijem.
IN koristiš za zatvorene prostrane i veće oblasti: "in a room", "in a car", "in Belgrade", "in Serbia". Dakle, kada je nešto unutar nečeg drugog.
ON stavljaš kada je nešto na površini: "on the table", "on the floor", "on the wall". Takođe za ulice bez broja ("on Knez Mihailova street"), spratove ("on the second floor") i javni prevoz ("on the bus").
AT označava tačnu lokaciju ili adresu: "at 25 Kralja Petra street", "at school", "at the cinema", "at home". To je kao da pokazuješ prstom na mapu gde se nešto nalazi.
Ključna razlika: "I am in school" = fizički sam u zgradi; "I am at school" = na nastavi sam
Predlozi za kretanje
Ovi predlozi opisuju kako se krećemo od tačke A do tačke B - vrlo praktično!
TO je najčešći - jednostavno kretanje ka cilju: "I am going to the park". INTO znači kretanje unutra: "He jumped into the river", dok ONTO označava kretanje na površinu: "The cat jumped onto the roof".
FROM pokazuje odakle dolazimo: "She came from France". ACROSS znači preko nečega: "We walked across the bridge", a THROUGH označava kretanje kroz nešto što ima unutrašnjost: "The train went through the tunnel".
TOWARDS je malo drugačiji - označava kretanje u pravcu nečega, ali ne obavezno do cilja: "He is walking towards the school" (možda neće ni ući).
Vizuelizuj: Zamišljaj sebe kako se krećeš - to ti pomaže da odabereš pravi predlog!
Predlozi uz glagole i prideve
Ovo je deo gde nema previše logike - jednostavno moraš naučiti napamet ove kombinacije!
Najčešći glagoli sa predlozima: "agree with someone", "listen to music", "wait for the bus", "look at something", "look for something" (tražiti), "depend on weather". Ove fraze su kao cele jedinice.
Česti pridevi sa predlozima: "good at math", "interested in history", "afraid of spiders", "proud of achievements", "angry with someone", "tired of studying". Zapamti da se pridevi uvek kombinuju sa istim predlozima.
Najveće greške koje prave učenici: "listen music" umesto "listen to music", ili "enter into the room" umesto jednostavno "enter the room". Glagol "enter" ne traži predlog!

Važni izuzeci i česte greške
Ne stavljaj predloge vremena ispred reči kao što su last, next, every, this. Dakle, kažeš "I saw him last Friday", a ne "on last Friday".
"On time" vs "In time" - ovo je česta zamka! "On time" znači tačno na vreme, ni sekunde ranije ili kasnije. "In time" znači dovoljno rano da stigneš nešto da uradiš.
Kada kažeš "enter", ne dodaj predlog - samo "enter the room". Glagol već sadrži značenje kretanja unutra.
Za test: Napravi kartice sa najčešćim kombinacijama i vežbaj ih svaki dan!
