But in the long run, everything becomes changeable. Companies can build new factories, workers can learn new skills, and entire industries can transform. This is where long run aggregate supply (LRAS) comes in - it represents the absolute maximum output an economy can produce.
Think of LRAS as your country's economic ceiling. It's determined by four key ingredients: land (natural resources), labour (workers), capital (machinery and technology), and enterprise (entrepreneurship). When plotted on a graph, the classical view shows LRAS as a vertical line - this means the economy's maximum capacity doesn't change with price levels.
