The Human Nervous System
Ever wondered how you automatically pull your hand away from something hot before you even think about it? That's your nervous system in action! This amazing network uses electrical signals to coordinate everything your body does, from basic survival functions to complex movements.
Homeostasis is your body's way of keeping everything perfectly balanced. Think of it like your phone's automatic settings - it controls your blood glucose concentration, body temperature, and water levels without you having to think about it. This happens through three key players: receptors (which detect changes), coordination centres (like your brain and spinal cord that process information), and effectors (muscles and glands that actually do something about it).
Your Central Nervous System (CNS) - made up of your brain and spinal cord - acts as mission control. Meanwhile, specialised cells called neurons carry electrical messages around your body faster than you can blink. Enzymes are the biological catalysts that speed up all these reactions, and they need just the right temperature and pH to work properly.
Quick Tip: Remember that your body temperature stays at 37°C because that's the perfect temperature for your enzymes to work without breaking down!

The app is very easy to use and well designed. I have found everything I was looking for so far and have been able to learn a lot from the presentations! I will definitely use the app for a class assignment! And of course it also helps a lot as an inspiration.
This app is really great. There are so many study notes and help [...]. My problem subject is French, for example, and the app has so many options for help. Thanks to this app, I have improved my French. I would recommend it to anyone.
Wow, I am really amazed. I just tried the app because I've seen it advertised many times and was absolutely stunned. This app is THE HELP you want for school and above all, it offers so many things, such as workouts and fact sheets, which have been VERY helpful to me personally.
