The female parts of the flower are collectively called the carpel (or pistil), and they're absolutely brilliant at their job. The stigma sits at the very top like a landing pad for pollen - it's often sticky to catch pollen grains effectively.
The style connects the stigma to the ovary below, acting like a tube that pollen travels down. Inside the ovary, you'll find ovules, which are basically plant eggs waiting to be fertilised.
When pollen from the anther reaches the stigma and travels down the style, it fertilises the ovules in the ovary. This creates seeds, which eventually grow into new plants - and that's how flowers reproduce!
