Čo je prítomný priebehový čas
Predstav si situáciu: niekto ti zavolá a pýta sa "Čo robíš?". Tvoja odpoveď "I am studying" je perfektný príklad prítomného priebehového času. Tento čas používaš vždy, keď chceš povedať, že sa niečo deje práve v tomto momente.
Na rozdiel od jednoduchého prítomného času (kde hovoríš o veciach, čo robíš pravidelne), priebehový čas je o tom, čo sa deje teraz. Nie "hrám futbal každú sobotu", ale "hrám futbal práve teraz".
Aby si ho správne vytvoril, potrebuješ dva základné prvky: sloveso "to be" a hlavné sloveso s koncovkou -ing. Bez týchto dvoch častí to jednoducho nefunguje!
💡 Tip: Kľúčové slová ako "now", "right now" alebo "Look!" ti vždy napovedajú, že máš použiť prítomný priebehový čas.
Kedy ho používame
Prítomný priebehový čas má tri hlavné použitia, ktoré si ľahko zapamätáš. Prvé je pre činnosti, ktoré sa dejú práve teraz - napríklad "I am writing notes" keď skutočně píšeš poznámky v tejto chvíli.
Druhé použitie je pre veci, čo robíš okolo tohto času, ale nemusíš ich robiť presne teraz. Keď povieš "I am reading an interesting book this week", nemusíš knihu čítať v tejto sekunde, ale robíš to v tomto období.
Tretie použitie je pre dočasné situácie. Napríklad "We are staying at my grandparents' house" - je to len na určitý čas, nie navždy. Toto ťa zachráni pred chybami v testoch!
💡 Pozor: Keď vidíš slová ako "Look!", "Listen!" alebo "at the moment", takmer vždy použiješ prítomný priebehový čas.
Ako tvoriť kladné vety
Tvorba kladných viet je ako jednoduchá matematika: podmet + am/is/are + sloveso + -ing. Najprv si vyber správny tvar slovesa "to be" - s "I" používaš "am", s "he/she/it" používaš "is", so všetkým ostatným používaš "are".
Potom jednoducho pridáš koncovku -ing k hlavnému slovesu. "I am studying", "She is playing", "They are running" - vidíš ten vzorec? Je to vždy rovnaké!
V hovorovej angličtine používaj skrátené tvary - znejú prirodzenejšie. Namiesto "I am" povieš "I'm", namiesto "She is" povieš "She's". Učitelia toto milujú a v testoch ťa to zachráni.
💡 Hack: Skrátené tvary (I'm, you're, he's) používaj vždy - znejú ako native speaker a ušetríš si čas pri písaní!
Záporné vety a otázky
Záporné vety sú super jednoduché - stačí pridať "not" za sloveso "to be". "I am not sleeping", "He isn't working", "They aren't watching". Môžeš použiť buď plnú formu (are not) alebo skrátenú (aren't, isn't).
Pre otázky jednoducho prehodíš sloveso "to be" pred podmet. Namiesto "You are studying" sa spýtaš "Are you studying?". Je to ako keď v slovenčine povieš "Študuješ?" namiesto "Ty študuješ".
Opytovacie zámená (What, Where, Why) idú vždy na začiatok: "What are you doing?", "Where is she going?". Pri krátkych odpovediach stačí "Yes, I am" alebo "No, I'm not" - nemusíš opakovať celú vetu.
💡 Pozor: "Am not" sa neskracuje na "amn't" - to neexistuje! Vždy hovor "I am not" alebo "I'm not".
Pravidlá pre -ing koncovku
Pridávanie koncovky -ing má niekoľko trikov, ktoré musíš ovládať. Väčšina slovies je jednoduchá - stačí pridať -ing: "play → playing", "read → reading". Toto zvládneš bez problémov.
Ak sloveso končí na -e, toto -e odstráníš a pridáš -ing: "make → making", "write → writing". Je to logické - inak by si mal divné "makeing".
Najzákernejšie sú krátke slovesá končiace na spoluhlásku-samohlásku-spoluhlásku. Tu musíš zdvojnásobiť poslednú spoluhlásku: "run → running", "sit → sitting", "swim → swimming". Ale pozor - ak je posledná spoluhláska w, x alebo y, nezdvojuješ ju!
💡 Trick: Pri slovesách ako "run", "sit", "stop" si pamätaj pravidlo "zdvojnásob a pridaj -ing" - run → ruNNing!
Riešené príklady krok za krokom
Pozrime si praktické príklady, ktoré ti ukážu, ako na to. Pre kladnú vetu "Ja sa učím angličtinu práve teraz": Najprv vyber "am" pre "I", potom pridaj "studying" . Výsledok: "I am studying English right now."
Pre zápornú vetu "On nespí v posteli": Vyber "is" pre "He", pridaj "not" (alebo skrátene "isn't"), pridaj "sleeping". Výsledok: "He isn't sleeping in bed." Vidíš, ako je to jednoduché?
Pre otázku "Pozeráte film?": Daj "Are" na začiatok, pridaj "you", potom "watching". Výsledok: "Are you watching a movie?" Takto budeš tvoriť otázky automaticky.
💡 Pro tip: Precvič si tieto tri typy viet s rôznymi slovesami - staneš sa v tom expert!
Najčastejšie chyby a výjimky
Najväčšie chyby študentov sú jednoduché na opravu. Prvá: zabudnúť na "to be" - "I studying" je zlé, musí byť "I am studying". Druhá: zabudnúť na -ing - "She is read" je zlé, musí byť "She is reading".
Niektoré slovesá sa v priebehovom čase nepoužívajú, aj keď sa "dejú teraz". Sú to slovesá stavu ako love, like, hate, know, want, understand. Povieš "I love chocolate", nie "I am loving chocolate".
Toto je super dôležité pre testy! Učitelia často testujú práve tieto slovesá. Zapamätaj si: ak sloveso vyjadruje pocit, názor alebo stav (nie činnosť), väčšinou ho nepoužívaj v priebehovom čase.
💡 Pozor: "I am seeing a doctor" je OK, lebo tu "see" znamená "stretnúť sa", nie "vidieť"!
Rýchly súhrn na test
Tu máš všetko najdôležitejšie na jednom mieste. Prítomný priebehový čas = činnosti, ktoré sa dejú teraz alebo v tomto období. Vzorec: podmet + am/is/are + sloveso + -ing.
Kladná veta: "I am listening to music." Záporná veta: "She isn't reading a book." Otázka: "Are you playing games?" Je to naozaj jednoduché!
Pamätaj si kľúčové slová: now, right now, at the moment, Look!, Listen!. Pri -ing nezabudni na pravidlá . Slovesá stavu ako love, know, want nepoužívaj v priebehovom čase.

Just amazing. Let's me revise 10x better, this app is a quick 10/10. I highly recommend it to anyone. I can watch and search for notes. I can save them in the subject folder. I can revise it any time when I come back. If you haven't tried this app, you're really missing out.

This apps acc the goat. I find revision so boring but this app makes it so easy to organize it all and then you can ask the freeeee ai to test yourself so good and you can easily upload your own stuff. highly recommend as someone taking mocks now
