Hodiny anglickej gramatiky: Časy

Prehľad a základné pojmy
Aby si sa v anglických časoch nestratil, musíš najprv pochopiť základy. Čas (tense) je ako kalendár pre slovesá - ukazuje, kedy sa akcia stala, deje alebo stane.
Pravidelné slovesá si tvoríš ľahko - len pridáš -ed (walk → walked). Nepravidelné slovesá si musíš zapamätať naspamäť, lebo majú svoje špeciálne tvary (go → went → gone). To je asi najväčšia otrava, ale bez toho to nepôjde.
Pomocné slovesá ako do, be, have ti pomáhajú tvoriť otázky a zápory. Sú ako pomocníci, ktorí robia tvoje vety správne.
Tip: Urobíš si kartičky s nepravidelnými slovesami - bude ti to na teste rozhodne pomáhať!
Prítomné časy
Present Simple používaš na zvyky, fakty a rozvrhy. Pre I/you/we/they len napíšeš sloveso, pre he/she/it pridáš -s. Pozor na kľúčové slová: always, often, every day.
I go to school every day. (zvyk) The sun rises in the east. (fakt)
Present Continuous je pre to, čo sa deje práve TERAZ. Tvoriť ho je ľahké: am/is/are + sloveso s -ing. Používaj ho aj pre už dohodnuté plány do blízkej budúcnosti.
I am studying English now. (práve teraz) We are meeting friends tonight. (dohodnutý plán)
Pozor: Niektoré slovesá sa v continuous nepoužívajú (napr. know, like, want).
Minulé časy
Past Simple je tvoj najlepší kamarát pre ukončené akcie v minulosti. Vždy vieš KEDY sa to stalo - yesterday, last week, in 2020. Pre otázky a zápory používaš did.
I visited my grandparents last weekend. Did you finish your homework?
Past Continuous používaš, keď niečo prebiehalo v konkrétnom čase v minulosti. Často je to dlhá akcia, ktorú prerušila krátka akcia (Past Simple).
I was reading when my phone rang. At 8 PM yesterday, I was studying. (o tej konkrétnej hodine)
Finta: Keď vidíš while, často ide o Past Continuous. Keď vidíš when, často ide o Past Simple.
Budúce časy
Future Simple s will používaš pre predpovede, spontánne rozhodnutia a sľuby. Je to jednoduché: will + sloveso.
I think it will rain tomorrow. (predpoveď) I will help you! (sľub)
Be going to je pre plány, ktoré si už pripravil, a predpovede založené na dôkazoch.
I'm going to visit my aunt next month. (už mám lístok) Look at those clouds! It's going to rain. (vidím mraky)
Rozdiel je jednoduchý: will = rozhodol som sa teraz, going to = už som sa rozhodol skôr.
Tip: Ak máš dôkaz (mraky, prázdnu nádrž), použi going to. Ak len tipuješ, použi will.
Present Perfect - najzákernejší čas
Present Perfect je často kameň úrazu, ale má svoju logiku. Používaš ho, keď akcia začala v minulosti, ale má súvis s prítomnosťou. Tvoriš ho: have/has + 3. tvar slovesa.
Používaj ho pre:
- Výsledky teraz: I have lost my keys. (nemám ich teraz)
- Skúsenosti: She has never been to Paris. (životná skúsenosť)
- Trvanie: We have lived here for five years. (stále tu žijeme)
Kľúčové slová: never, ever, already, yet, just, for, since.
Zlaté pravidlo: Ak je dôležité KEDY, použi Past Simple. Ak je dôležitý VÝSLEDOK alebo SKÚSENOSŤ, použi Present Perfect.
Present Perfect vs Past Simple
Toto je najdôležitejší rozdiel, ktorý musíš pochopiť na výbornú!
Present Perfect: Čas nie je dôležitý, dôležitý je výsledok alebo súvis s prítomnosťou. I have broken my leg. (mám zlomenú nohu TERAZ)
Past Simple: Vieš presne kedy sa to stalo, akcia je ukončená. I broke my leg last year. (už je zahojená)
For vs Since: For = ako dlho (for 3 years), Since = odkedy (since 2020).
Ďalšie príklady: She has visited Rome. (skúsenosť, nevieme kedy) She visited Rome last summer. (vieme presne kedy)
Test yourself: Ak môžeš pridať konkrétny čas (yesterday, last week), použi Past Simple!
Praktické cvičenia a tipy
Skús si tieto vety:
- I _____ (eat) pizza yesterday. → Past Simple, lebo yesterday
- She _____ him since Monday. → Present Perfect, lebo since
Najdôležitejšie tipy na test:
- Vždy si všímaj časové výrazy vo vete
- Premýšľaj: je dôležité KEDY alebo VÝSLEDOK?
- Nauč si nepravidelné slovesá - bez nich sa nezaobídeš
Časové výrazy ti napovedajú:
- Yesterday, last week, ago = Past Simple
- Never, ever, already, just = Present Perfect
- Now, at the moment = Present Continuous
Posledný tip: Keď si neistý, spýtaj sa seba: "Má táto akcia vplyv na prítomnosť?" Ak áno, pravdepodobne ide o Present Perfect.
Zhrnutie na záver
Tu máš všetko najdôležitejšie na jeden pohľad:
Prítomné časy: Simple pre zvyky a fakty, Continuous pre to čo sa deje teraz. Minulé časy: Simple pre ukončené akcie s konkrétnym časom, Continuous pre prebiehajúce akcie v minulosti. Budúce časy: Will pre spontánne rozhodnutia, going to pre plány.
Present Perfect: Najzložitejší, ale kľúčový! Pamätaj si - dôležitý je súvis s prítomnosťou, nie konkrétny čas.
Keď si zapamätáš tieto základy a budeš cvičovať, anglické časy prestanú byť záhadou. Najťažšie je rozlíšiť Present Perfect a Past Simple, ale s praxou to zvládneš bez problémov.
Finálny tip: Pred testom si precvič hlavne nepravidelné slovesá a rozdiel medzi Present Perfect a Past Simple - to sú najčastejšie chyby!

This apps acc the goat. I find revision so boring but this app makes it so easy to organize it all and then you can ask the freeeee ai to test yourself so good and you can easily upload your own stuff. highly recommend as someone taking mocks now
