Βασικές Διαφορές DNA και RNA
Το DNA και το RNA είναι σαν τα δίδυμα αδέλφια της βιολογίας - παρόμοια αλλά με διαφορετικές προσωπικότητες! Το DNA είναι το αφεντικό που κρατάει όλες τις οδηγίες στον πυρήνα, ενώ το RNA είναι ο γρήγορος αγγελιοφόρος που τρέχει παντού στο κύτταρο.
Η κύρια διαφορά είναι ότι το DNA έχει δεσοξυριβόζη (σάκχαρο) και θυμίνη (T), ενώ το RNA έχει ριβόζη και ουρακίλη (U) αντί για θυμίνη. Επίσης, το DNA είναι δίκλωνο (σαν σκάλα), αλλά το RNA είναι μονόκλωνο (σαν μισή σκάλα).
Το DNA είναι πιο σταθερό γιατί πρέπει να κρατήσει τις γενετικές πληροφορίες για όλη τη ζωή, ενώ το RNA είναι πιο "αστάθμητο" γιατί χρειάζεται να κινείται γρήγορα και να αλλάζει.
Θυμήσου: DNA = Δεσοξυριβόζη + Θυμίνη, RNA = Ριβόζη + Ουρακίλη!
Η Διαδικασία της Πρωτεϊνοσύνθεσης
Η πρωτεϊνοσύνθεση είναι σαν να μαγειρεύεις - πρώτα διαβάζεις τη συνταγή (μεταγραφή) και μετά την ακολουθείς (μετάφραση)! Αυτή η διαδικασία γίνεται σε δύο βήματα που θα τα θυμάσαι εύκολα.
Στη μεταγραφή, το DNA γίνεται mRNA στον πυρήνα - σαν να αντιγράφεις τη συνταγή σε χαρτάκι. Η RNA πολυμεράση κάνει όλη τη δουλειά, ξεκινώντας από τον υποκινητή (promoter).
Στη μετάφραση, το mRNA πάει στα ριβοσώματα όπου τα κωδικόνια (τριάδες γραμμάτων) μεταφράζονται σε αμινοξέα. Τα αμινοξέα ενώνονται και φτιάχνουν πολυπεπτίδια που γίνονται πρωτεΐνες!
Τέλος, το DNA οργανώνεται σε χρωμοσώματα με τις ιστόνες - σαν να τυλίγεις ένα μεγάλο σκοινί γύρω από καρούλια για να χωράει στη θέση του.

This apps acc the goat. I find revision so boring but this app makes it so easy to organize it all and then you can ask the freeeee ai to test yourself so good and you can easily upload your own stuff. highly recommend as someone taking mocks now
