古文読解の基礎知識

古文を読むとき、現代文とは全然違う世界だと思わないで。助動詞・助詞・敬語の3つの基本を押さえれば、君も古文の世界に入っていけるよ。和歌や物語を通して、昔の人たちの気持ちを理解するのが古文読解の醍醐味なんだ。

助動詞は動詞につく小さな言葉だけど、文の意味を大きく変える重要な存在。「る・らる」「す・さす」「む・ず」など、それぞれに複数の意味があるから活用と意味をセットで覚えよう。例えば「雨が降るべし」の「べし」は推量の意味で使われてる。

助詞は文の中で言葉同士の関係を示すナビゲーター的な役割。格助詞・接続助詞・副助詞の種類があって、どれも文の構造を理解するのに欠かせない。

敬語は尊敬語・謙譲語・丁寧語の3種類。誰から誰への敬意なのかを見極めるのが読解のカギになる。係り結びの法則も覚えておこう - 係助詞が出てくると文末の活用形が変わるルールだよ。
