古文の基礎知識と読解
古文は平安時代から鎌倉時代にかけて使われていた日本語で、源氏物語や枕草子などの名作が書かれた言葉だ。現代語とは文法や語彙が違うけど、コツを掴めば必ず読めるようになる。
まず覚えておきたいのは敬語システムの存在。古文では身分の高い人に対して特別な敬語を使うから、誰が誰に対して話しているのかを理解するのが重要だよ。
助動詞も古文読解の鍵になる。「けり」「なり」「らむ」などは現代語にはない表現で、過去や推量などの意味を表している。これらの基本的な意味を覚えると、文章の流れがぐっと分かりやすくなる。
