比較表現の基本と3つの形
君が何かを友達と比べるとき、英語では形容詞や副詞の形を変えることで表現するよ。これがテストで超よく出るから、今日マスターしちゃおう！
原級は「大きい」「速い」みたいな普通の形。比較級は「もっと大きい」「より速い」って2つのものを比べる形。最上級は「一番大きい」「最も速い」って3つ以上の中で一番を表す形なんだ。
日本語で考えると簡単だよね。「高い→より高い→一番高い」みたいに、英語でも同じパターンがあるだけ。
覚えておこう！ 2つを比べるなら比較級、3つ以上なら最上級を使う
短い単語の変化ルール
短い単語（だいたい1音節）は語尾に**-erや-est**をつけるだけ。long → longer → longest みたいにね。これが一番基本的なパターンだよ。
でもスペルに注意が必要な単語もある。eで終わる単語なら-rと-stだけ追加（large → larger → largest）。「短母音+子音字」で終わる単語は最後の文字を重ねる（big → bigger → biggest）。
「子音字+y」で終わる単語はyをiに変えてから-er、-estをつける（happy → happier → happiest）。このルール、テストで狙われやすいから要注意！
テストのコツ スペル変化は何度も書いて手で覚えよう
長い単語と不規則変化
長い単語（2音節以上）は単語の前にmoreやmostをつける。beautiful → more beautiful → most beautiful みたいに、単語自体は変わらないから楽だよ。
不規則変化する単語は暗記するしかない。good → better → best、bad → worse → worst、many/much → more → mostは絶対覚えて！
迷ったときは音節（音の区切り）を数えてみよう。beau-ti-fulは3つに分かれるから長い単語。bigは1つだから短い単語って判断できる。
暗記のコツ 不規則変化は毎日5回ずつ書いて覚えよう
比較の文の作り方
原級の文は「A is as + 原級 + as B」で「AはBと同じくらい〜」。My bag is as large as yours.（私のカバンはあなたのと同じくらい大きい）みたいに使うよ。
比較級の文は「A is + 比較級 + than B」で「AはBより〜」。My brother is taller than me.（兄は私より背が高い）って感じ。thanを忘れないのがポイント！
最上級の文は「A is the + 最上級 + in/of...」で「Aは〜の中で一番」。Ken is the tallest in our class.（ケンはクラスで一番背が高い）みたいに使う。theを絶対忘れちゃダメ。
文法チェック 比較級にはthan、最上級にはtheがセットで必要
実践問題と間違えやすいポイント
「私の犬はあなたの犬より大きい」なら、2つを比べるから比較級。big → bigger で「My dog is bigger than yours.」になる。簡単でしょ？
「数学は全教科で一番難しい」なら、3つ以上を比べるから最上級。difficult → most difficult で「Math is the most difficult of all subjects.」だよ。
よくある間違いは、thanやtheを忘れること。あと「more bigger」みたいに二重につけちゃうのもNG。不規則変化の「gooder」も間違いだから気をつけて！
注意 moreと-erは一緒に使わない。どちらか一つだけ！
