Základy nepravidelných sloves
Nepravidelná slovesa (irregular verbs) jsou prostě slovesa, která si dělají, co chtějí - nemají standardní koncovku -ed v minulém čase. Místo toho má každé své vlastní tvary, které si musíš zapamatovat.
Každé anglické sloveso má tři základní tvary. Infinitiv je základní tvar (to go), minulý čas používáš pro věci, co se staly včera nebo dřív (went), a příčestí minulé potřebuješ pro předpřítomný čas a trpný rod (gone).
💡 Tip: Nepravidelná slovesa si nejlépe zapamatuješ, když je rozdělíš do skupin podle vzorů - není jich tolik, jak se může zdát!
Slovesa se stejným tvarem - nejjednodušší skupina
Některá nepravidelná slovesa jsou vlastně docela lazy - mají stejný tvar ve všech třech formách. To znamená, že si musíš zapamatovat jen jeden tvar!
Mezi nejčastější patří put (dát), cut (řezat), hurt (zranit), hit (udeřit) a cost (stát). Další užitečná jsou let (nechat), set (nastavit) a shut (zavřít).
⚡ Rychlá pomůcka: Tato slovesa končí většinou na -t nebo jsou jednoslabičná, což ti pomůže je rozpoznat!
Slovesa se shodným minulým časem a příčestím
Tahle skupina je také poměrně jednoduchá - minulý čas a příčestí minulé mají stejný tvar, jen infinitiv je jiný. Musíš si tedy pamatovat jen dva tvary místo tří.
Sem patří super užitečná slovesa jako bring-brought-brought (přinést), buy-bought-bought (koupit), catch-caught-caught (chytit) nebo find-found-found (najít). Další důležitá jsou teach-taught-taught (učit) a think-thought-thought (myslet).
Podobně fungují i build-built-built (stavět), feel-felt-felt (cítit), keep-kept-kept (udržovat) nebo sleep-slept-slept (spát).
🎯 Zapamatuj si: Mnoho těchto sloves má v minulých tvarech podobné koncovky , což ti pomůže je snadněji rozpoznat!
Slovesa s příčestím na -en
Tady to začíná být zajímavější! Příčestí minulé končí na -en, zatímco minulý čas je úplně jiný. Tahle skupina obsahuje některá z nejběžnějších anglických sloves.
Mezi klasiky patří break-broke-broken (rozbít), choose-chose-chosen (vybrat), eat-ate-eaten (jíst) nebo give-gave-given (dát). Nezapomeň na speak-spoke-spoken (mluvit) a write-wrote-written (psát).
Take-took-taken (vzít) a fall-fell-fallen (padat) používáš prakticky každý den, takže si je určitě zapamatuj jako první.
📝 Pro testy: Právě tyhle slovesa se nejčastěji objevují v testech, protože je používáš pořád. Zvládneš-li je, máš vyhráno!
Slovesa se vzorem -ew/-own
Poslední skupina má docela elegantní vzor: v minulém čase -ew, v příčestí -own. Jakmile si tento vzor zapamatuješ, půjde ti to mnohem snáz.
Nejdůležitější jsou určitě know-knew-known (vědět, znát) a grow-grew-grown (růst). Dále draw-drew-drawn (kreslit), fly-flew-flown (létat) a throw-threw-thrown (hodit).
