Two key formulae are provided that you absolutely must remember for your GCSEs. The trapezium area formula is ½a+ba+bh, where 'a' and 'b' are the parallel sides and 'h' is the height between them.

For volume of a prism, simply multiply the area of the cross-section by the length. This works for any prism shape - triangular, rectangular, or more complex ones.
