Sea levels will rise because of the melting ice. Distributions of species will change as weather patterns change. Migration patterns will change as certain areas get warmer. Reduction in biodiversity.

It cost a lot of money and can affect food security and there will be many people who will disagree.

What are the negatives of protecting biodiversity? 

Which trophic level will contain producers and will this be bigger or smaller than the trophic level containing tertiary xonsumer 

The further up you go in the food chain, the less biomass there is. This can be shown using a pyramid of biomass

What is the relationship between biomass and food chain? 

Not all of the animal is eaten. Not all stuff is absorbed (faeces). Some biomass is converted and lost as waste.
