These maths challenges are all about mastering your times tables... Show more

Ready to become a 6 times table champion? This challenge tests how quickly you can recall all your multiplication facts for 6. You'll see problems like 1×6, 2×6, all the way up to 10×6 mixed up in different orders.
The key to success is memorising these facts until they become automatic. Start with the easier ones like 1×6=6 and 10×6=60, then work on the trickier middle numbers. Remember that 6×6=36 is often the one that trips people up!
Practice tip: Cover up the answers and try to say them as fast as you can. The goal is to know these facts instantly without having to work them out each time.
Quick Tip: If you get stuck on 7×6, remember it's the same as 6×7=42!

Time to tackle the 7 times table – often considered one of the trickiest! This challenge mixes up all the multiplication facts from 1×7 to 10×7 to test your recall speed. Getting these right takes practice, but you've got this!
The 7 times table has some memorable patterns. Notice that 7×7=49 sits right in the middle, and 7×8=56 comes right after. Many students find 7×6=42 and 7×9=63 the hardest to remember.
Don't worry if this feels challenging at first – the 7 times table is tough for everyone! Focus on the facts you find hardest and practice those extra times. Soon you'll be rattling through them without thinking.
Memory Trick: For 7×8=56, think "7 ate (8) and was sick (56)"!

Now you're flipping things around with division facts! Instead of 6×4=24, you're working out 24÷6=4. This challenge tests whether you really understand the connection between multiplication and division.
If you know your 6 times table well, these division problems should feel familiar. When you see 42÷6, think "what number times 6 equals 42?" The answer is 7, because 7×6=42.
The numbers you'll be dividing include 6, 12, 18, 24, 30, 36, 42, 48, 54, and 60. Each one divides neatly by 6 with no remainders, which makes this much easier than it looks!
Smart Strategy: If you're stuck on a division, think of the matching times table fact!

Here's where things get interesting with division facts for 7! You'll be working with numbers like 21÷7, 49÷7, and 63÷7. These connect directly to your 7 times table knowledge.
The numbers being divided are 7, 14, 21, 28, 35, 42, 49, 56, 63, and 70. If you're confident with your 7 times table, you'll recognise these immediately as the answers from 1×7 through to 10×7.
Remember, division is just multiplication backwards. So when you see 56÷7, you're really asking "7 times what equals 56?" Since 7×8=56, the answer is 8!
Connection Tip: Strong times table knowledge makes division much easier!

The 9 times table has some brilliant patterns that make it easier than you might think! This challenge tests your speed with facts from 1×9 up to 10×9, all jumbled up to keep you on your toes.
Here's a cool pattern to help you: for 9×2, the tens digit is 1 and the digits add up to 9 (1+8=9), giving you 18. For 9×7, the tens digit is 6 and 6+3=9, giving you 63!
Another handy trick: the answers to the 9 times table from 9×1 to 9×10 are 9, 18, 27, 36, 45, 54, 63, 72, 81, 90. Notice how the tens go up by 1 each time while the units go down by 1?
Pattern Power: The digits in any 9 times table answer always add up to 9!

Time for division practice with 9! You'll be working out problems like 81÷9=9 and 54÷9=6. These division facts connect perfectly with your 9 times table knowledge.
The numbers you'll see are 9, 18, 27, 36, 45, 54, 63, 72, 81, and 90. If you've mastered your 9 times table, you'll spot these as the familiar answers and know exactly what to divide by 9.
Use that same digit pattern trick here too! If you see 72÷9 and remember that 7+2=9, you know this is definitely a 9 times table fact. Since 9×8=72, then 72÷9=8.
Quick Check: If the digits of the number add up to 9, it divides neatly by 9!

The 11 times table is actually one of the easiest once you know the secret! For single digits, you just repeat the digit: 11×3=33, 11×7=77, 11×9=99. Simple!
For larger facts like 11×12, there's still a pattern but it gets a bit trickier. The good news is this challenge focuses mainly on the straightforward ones from 11×1 to 11×10.
Don't let the jumbled order put you off – stick to the patterns you know. When you see 6×11, remember it's the same as 11×6=66. The 11 times table is very forgiving once you get the hang of it!
Easy Pattern: 11×1=11, 11×2=22, 11×3=33... just double the single digit!

Welcome to the 12 times table – the final frontier! This one requires solid memorisation since there aren't as many helpful patterns. You'll need facts like 12×7=84 and 12×9=108 at your fingertips.
Think of the 12 times table as combining what you know about 10s and 2s. For example, 12×6 = (10×6) + (2×6) = 60+12 = 72. This method works but it's slower than just memorising the facts.
The key answers to learn are: 12, 24, 36, 48, 60, 72, 84, 96, 108, 120, 132, 144. Focus extra practice on the ones you find hardest – probably the bigger numbers like 12×11=132 and 12×12=144.
Building Blocks: Use your 10 times table plus your 2 times table to work out 12s!

Now you're working backwards with the 11 times table to solve division problems! Since 11×4=44, you know that 44÷11=4. The patterns from multiplication make division much easier.
You'll be dividing numbers like 22, 33, 44, 55, 66, 77, 88, 99, 110, and 121 by 11. Notice how most of these follow that double digit pattern – 22÷11=2, 33÷11=3, and so on.
The connection between multiplication and division is really clear with 11s. If you're confident that 11×7=77, then you immediately know that 77÷11=7 without any extra thinking!
Double Digits: Numbers like 22, 33, 44 divided by 11 give you the repeated digit!

Here's your final challenge: division facts for 12! You'll be dividing numbers like 144÷12=12 and 84÷12=7. These connect directly to your 12 times table knowledge.
The numbers being divided include 12, 24, 36, 48, 60, 72, 84, 96, 108, 120, 132, and 144. These should look familiar from your 12 times table practice – they're exactly the same numbers!
Remember, if you know that 12×8=96, then you automatically know that 96÷12=8. Strong times table knowledge is your secret weapon for making division feel effortless.
Final Tip: Master your times tables and division becomes automatic!

This app is really great. There are so many study notes and help [...]. My problem subject is French, for example, and the app has so many options for help. Thanks to this app, I have improved my French. I would recommend it to anyone.

Wow, I am really amazed. I just tried the app because I've seen it advertised many times and was absolutely stunned. This app is THE HELP you want for school and above all, it offers so many things, such as workouts and fact sheets, which have been VERY helpful to me personally.

Just amazing. Let's me revise 10x better, this app is a quick 10/10. I highly recommend it to anyone. I can watch and search for notes. I can save them in the subject folder. I can revise it any time when I come back. If you haven't tried this app, you're really missing out.

This app has made me feel so much more confident in my exam prep, not only through boosting my own self confidence through the features that allow you to connect with others and feel less alone, but also through the way the app itself is centred around making you feel better. It is easy to navigate, fun to use, and helpful to anyone struggling in absolutely any way.

The app's just great! All I have to do is enter the topic in the search bar and I get the response real fast. I don't have to watch 10 YouTube videos to understand something, so I'm saving my time. Highly recommended!

I know a lot of apps use fake accounts to boost their reviews but this app deserves it all. Originally I was getting 4 in my English exams and this time I got a grade 7. I didn’t even know about this app three days until the exam and it has helped A LOT. Please actually trust me and use it as I’m sure you too will see developments.
