past papers and reading mark schemes really helps grow your understand of what the examiners want to see on you answer. also using websites like ‘my maths’ and watching cognito videos on youtube :)

lots of practice questions I think you can find some online. for maths it's no use just reading a textbook. make sure you mark them to see how to respond better next time

Complete lots of past papers for your exam board, they will test everything you have learnt in preparation for your real exams, then you will know the topics you struggle on, revising the topics you struggle on will help you ace your exams!

past paper practice is great, it helps a lot with learning what types of questions often come up in exams. keep practicing topics that you don’t really understand that well, do multiple maths problems and questions on them until you do understand it fully, then move onto the next topic.

I used corbett maths and I was able to get an A* - he has loads of videos on YouTube along with practise questions and answers on his website I just started at the top of my specification and went through each topic. I just went through ny notes and learned how to approach the question then I did tons of practice questions on corbett maths I did a few topics a week depending on how long the topics were - I’d say I started revising just before Easter :)

so this is the type of plan I’m personally trying to stick to right now: 3 days of the week I decided I’m going to be doing actual content learning. so by this I mean that I’m going to watch the GCSE math tutor’s videos on youtube and just follow along with them since he includes practice questions. My aim is to do at least two topics in the 30 mins slot im assigning, or maybe more if I decide to do a 1 hour session. then the remaining 4 days I’m going to be doing practise papers. The exam booklets on maths genie are very helpful and again I want to attempt to do at least two per session (of either 30mins or 1h). for me I feel like maths is one of those subjects that I actually do revision for everyday but you may not feel like that at all which is completely fine! and also there are obviously going to be some days where I feel tired or lazy so in those days I try to do the corbett maths 5 a day sheet so at least I’m doing something. sorry this is very long but I hope that helps!!

YES LOTS OF PAST PAPERS, try any sort of past papers, practise papers and exam style questions like ones out of a textbook, I also recommend corbettmaths also, make a list of all your maths topics and start trying to colour code the ones you have completed questions on or colour code them as green the ones you find easy, orange the ones you are okay at, and red the ones you struggle the most with try tackle the red ones first, watch YouTube tutorials and ask your maths teacher and try lots of practise questions with these practise makes perfect
